Rebuilding headlight switches questions

Took both of mine apart and cleaned them all with contact cleaner. Only issue is now the hazard will be pushed in but doesn't spring back out. I took it apart a few times and all 3 springs and the plate are where it should be. Any ideas or things I should look out for?

Look at the metal piece that locks the switch on, that has to be lined up, I mean make sure it is in the proper place when you put the back back on and fold the tabs back,if it moved a little it can hang up the switch.

Got the bottom off and had to get the springs back on. Didn't know the bottom came apart, that fixed it. Just gotta get the headlights to go up/down now, but I think that is a fuse.

Thanks

If I get rid of this dash I would really like to just put toggle switches in but not sure about all the wiring for these damn switches that it has.
