You can dump into the downpipe, or run an o2 dump off of the stock turbo. If you want to run an external wastegate you can drill out the pin and remove the wastegate flapper and press in a plug to seal that opening. Otherwise you just leave all of the wastegate assembly how it is, but port the hole that the flapper covers.

After that you then make a rectangle of steel the same shape as the route back into the exhaust, and slightly oversized. Form it to fit the contour of the inside of the exhaust opening, and then put a tack weld at each corner. It doesn't need to be sealed tight. It just needs to allow the air to pass through the o2 housing and take the path of least resistance out the back.

Then from there you make a flange and dump pipe to either route down, or to enter back into the downpipe without disrupting flow.

It's doable and has been done.

Alright good to know, can't see spending $$$ on an external wastegate that would need even more $$$ to be routed into the downpipe. I'm guessing theres no company that makes a downpipe that just eliminates the O2 manifold? All I can find are $200+ downpipe that are similar to stock but without the cat
