You have a carburetor on it ok that carb will need a port that was intended to use with a vac. adv and does that port also see boost pressure? I needs to.

 

Its still going to be 10btdc at idle and it shouldn't be seeing any vacuum while at idle. If it does see vacuum at idle it better be very very little or that will screw up the timing advance curve for the vac. adv. portion.
