mark0695 Posted July 13, 2011 Report Share Posted July 13, 2011 (edited) CAR IS NOW SOLD!!! I have a black 87 TSi for sale. It is a rolling chasis only. I am wanting 450 for it firm. It has no motor or trans and missing radio and ecu. Interior has front cloth seat that have faded and rear is leather with rips at the top in the middle seams. Front air dam will need to be replaced. Clear title in hand and need to sell soon. This was to be my V8 project but things are not well on the financial part of starting it at this time. Will need paint as well as it has cracked all over. There is only one rust spot that I can find on this car and it is at the bottom drivers side quarter down by the door. It is only about a dime hole big maybe a little smaller. If you want to sell the front seats I may be able to help you out for sure... Unfortunately it needs paint (and a little rust repair)--and that makes it no better than the 60k rust free '88 roller I have that just needs paint and a drivetrain. I may make a trip to see it soon since you are only about 45min from me. I may be in York early next week for work at Memorial Hospital for a little while. I am not sure about selling just the front because then i would have to get some replacement seats for it. Whats with the hood, headlights not aligning very well with the body? Driverside looks like its not all the way down. Also looks that maybe the hood isn't seating properly. Im still losing money on it since what I had to pay for gas for getting it to me. As for the lights not aligning up i think the one is just not down all the way. I havent mess with it since I got it. Thanks for your time. im stopping by the car in about an hour to get more pics. I will post them up later tonight and see what i can clear up for you. The glass for everything looks good still. no cracks or chips and not all scratched up. There are parts of the air dam but it will need replaced as it is still the 3 piece but broken quite a bit.
