intense98rt Posted July 9, 2011 Report Share Posted July 9, 2011 Not really much is involved with converting. You should get a new dryer, pull off the compressor and drain the oil. Use new orings. In the conversion kit it comes with the r12 to r134a adaptor and a can from r134a/oil. Attach the adaptor, hook it up to a vaccum pump and let it run for awhile. Then, attach the can.
