MainstreaM Posted September 1, 2010 Report Share Posted September 1, 2010 Reason for Accelerator cables becoming stuck is poor engine grounds!!!! The grounds beocme corroded or dirty and the cable is the last path available for current to get back to ground. This makes heat and actually melts the cable inside. Make absolutely sure you clean/replace the ground cables or you will have this problem again.
