Komeuppance Posted August 9, 2010 Report Share Posted August 9, 2010 The Datsun crowd around here is pretty large, and most of the guys are friendly... and mature. We like to crash their meets with Mitsubishi's!! Haha, there were about 100 cars there, and we were the only Mitsus. Had to re-educate one guy that it's all 100% Mitsubishi and nothing crieslurr. Traffic was terrible!! Took us two hours to get there, partly because we were trying to find an alternate route and I took us 10 miles the wrong way... LOL. Omar's car (the silver flatty) was working fine and we were sitting in line at the entrance/ticket booth for about 10 mins. We pulled over after we paid and waited for him, as soon as it was his turn to pull up and pay... his car DIED... LOL. Good thing I pulled over instead of just leaving him there. I jumped out of my car and ran back to help him push it out of the way. We moved it to the other lane and I did a quick inspection, he was getting spark (tach jumping) but no fuel... it would crank just fine but not fire at all. They started to open up the other lane so we had to push the car passed the ticket booth... without paying!! I joked that it'd start now because it didn't want him to pay, so while Omar was getting out his tools, I got in and cranked and it fired right up... LOL. He went back to the booth and still payed though. He's pretty cool... he knows the owner of the red Z, and they called me over because he really wanted to see my car. Ha, I heard from another friend someone questioned why there were Starions there.
