cficare68
MOAR PICS PLOX!we all love pics!and videosand descriptions and ideasand kittens LOL well I did get a little some more progress made on the Conquest. Here is a picture of the 83 Conquest that I picked up for the parts car http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture050.jpg (Cars are at a storage lot and I can't have lose parts on the ground, hence why there are doors sitting on top of it.) All in all this car has well been worth the $50 I paided for it. I have also been able to pick up a few extra parts as well here is a list of them: http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture039.jpgStock Evo 8 injectors. (They are 560cc got them from a friend that upgrade his evo to 1000cc. They were free!!!!!!) http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture051.jpg Godspeed TD06H 20g Turbo ($430) http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture047.jpg Toyota Supra R154 Tranny. ($300 Was rebuilt 5000 miles ago however the 1st gear thrust washer is bad in it. Bought a replacement thrust washer for $30 to fix the problem.) Mighty Max Motor Mounts ($53)Coilpack ($40)1g 4g63 Throttle Body ($50)Stock Conquest/Starion Shift Knob ($18)Stock 1g throttle body elbow ($20)10.2mm Vision Motorworks Spark Plug Wire ($43.50)Apexi Turbo Timer ($40)Optima Red Top Battery ($128)Clutch Release Pivot Ball ($12) Along with that I have made some progress with putting the car back together. I used a lot of the interior pieces from the 83 and mixed them with the 89. (Maroon interior came from the 83, black from the 89) Here is what the inside of the car looks like as of right now. http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture042.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture043.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture041.jpg Also I switch out the driver side door and the hood to extra ones that I had that were in better condition than the ones that were on the car. As well as put a side view mirror on the passengers side door. http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture046.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture044.jpg I also removed the front bumper so that I can replace it with the parts car bumper when I get some extra time. http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture048.jpg http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Picture040.jpg Anyways this is the progress I have made thus far. And just for you here is a picture of my cat when she was a kitten LOL!!!!!! http://i765.photobucket.com/albums/xx296/cficare68/th_Kitten.jpg
Psykore
Cool project, but what's up with the '83? Looks way too nice to be a parts car...
cficare68
Cool project, but what's up with the '83? Looks way too nice to be a parts car... Its got A Lot of suspension problems and the entire braking system is locked up. Pretty much the only way to get the car to move is by pulling or pushing it with another vehicle. Besides that I stripped alot of the interior as well as misc parts for use on the 89. Unfortunately I don't have the time, money, or space for it. Both cars right now are at a storage lot parked side by side and it is costing me $30 bucks a month to keep them there.
