Turbo_84_Starion
Can anyone tell me what plugs into where? I think the one I labeled 5 grounds to the intake where the egr valve bolts on. BONUS: Can I use the old rod with the new cylinder? Or did I get the wrong year/intercooled one?

That one taped over isn't used on that model its if you have an automatic tranny so it won't go into OD until the coolant is warmed up and its the ECU that sees that sensor and its one of the reasons that those early cars had a different ECU for manual vs auto trannys. The slave rod, the longer one is for a non intercooled tranny
Turbo_84_Starion
Thanks Indiana. So I need to return the whole cylinder, rod and all, and make sure I get the non intercooled version?
Indiana
No, the cylinder is the same just use your old rod.
