Okay guys, she's up for sale officially now. There is now finally a good transmission in there and she's ready to go.

Black on black leather 87 TSI. Everything works except for the speedo and cruise control (speedo cable broke), but, I'm planning on fixing that here very soon. So, then, everything will work. Also, soon, I'm getting a 4 wheel alignment done on it since its wearing the tires funny.

A/C is ice cold, all new seals, new expansion valve, new drier, new relays, everything works as it should, and is converted to R134.

Engine runs excellent. I've had very good luck with this car, putting upwards of 15k on it since I bought it almost two years ago, driving it everyday. And, yes, I would trust it to drive anywhere. I'd take it to California in a minute if I had the gas money...lol.

But, tis a sunroof car...yes, the sunroof mechanism is stripped out as they all are, but, I usually just remove it anyway. Interior is pretty much mint besides the steering wheel leather and a small pin hole (about an 1/8") in the driver's side seat that hasn't gotten any bigger since I've had the car.

The passengers frame rail has been replaced with box steel that is way thicker then the original stuff.

Brand new 3" turbo back exhaust with a Flowmaster 40. Sounds great. Real deep.

Engine is basically stock minus all the emmisions stuff. As I said, the 3" exhaust and a Turbo XS RFL BOV. Also, all the electronics/wastegate have been upgraded to 88/89 spec for 10.5 - 11psi of boost.

From the info I have gotten, this motor now has somewhere around 65k on it (its from Kreal's car), whereas the car has about 130k on it now.

As far as interior mods, I have a stereo out of a Diamante which is actually pretty cool for a stock Mitsu stereo (it even works with the steering wheel controls) , and Mookeh Blue gauges with the white odometer mod, and a real boost gauge put into place. Also, I have changed the clock to blue. I had the a/c panel blue, but, I tried to change the face on it and failed miserably. So...I put a stock orange one back in it. I could change it to blue lighting if desired.

Umm...I'm sure I'm forgetting a lot...but, let me know if you need any info.

Also...what I know for a fact the car needs......

Paint (yes, this year old paint went to heck quickly. Cleans up nice, but oxidizes within a couple weeks)

Left rear CV boot

...and...I think thats about it. An air filter to turbo hose would be beneficial as the one on it looks like crap. But...

And...I've only ever boosted it above stock 88 settings once when the vac line on the wastegate popped off, so...that was quickly fixed. As I said, I've been daily driving the car and haven't wanted to mess with it to hurt reliability.

But, let me know if you're interested or need any more info/pictures. My phone number is 941-214-0014. My email is strang3majik@live.com

I'm asking $4500, and thats with a parts car with most major body panels still on it, and a bunch of other spare crap I have laying around. (another TB, JustPaus's lenses I haven't put on yet, dash pieces, steering wheels, stock radio...etc)

I had a 1G leather wheel in it, but, I put this one back in since I now have a stereo that works with the steering wheel controls.

would be a great car in pa if the emissions stuff was all still intact. bump for a sick car though

this car is actually from Harrisburg...lol

But, it could probably pass if you put a cat back on it. It still has the EGR system, just, no secondary air filter which most remove anyway.

But...thanks for the bump.

Nice car!! Good luck with the sale.

By any chance were you able to connect the steering wheel radio controls with that OEM Mitsubishi Diamante/3000GT radio you have on???

I've seen this car and it is worth what he's asking. It's been treated right by an owner who knows more about these cars than most.

I do think you will regret selling it tho =)

(any chance I can still grab the spare oil separator setup from your parts car?)

You'll be back...

oh...don't worry. I will indeed be back, just want to get all my projects done first. My Cuda, my truck (which will be done here within the next week or so), then, the Shelby Charger/Omni (which are both almost done).

Then...once all that craziness is done (well, they're never done...lol) but, once they're to a point I can consider "good for now," then I'll get another Quest.

Already have my sights set on the one I want...I just have to persuade the guy to sell it :D

Also...I won't leave the boards...I'll stick around here, just because, well, you can checkout anytime you like, but, you can't ever leave. :)
