BigGuyLittleQuest
does the piston push in or is it a twist and push? my c-clamp is not doing the job and im wondering if i might have another seized caliper(LF seized)
Jsmitty
Turn while pushing in. If one caliper is seized there a good chance the other side will too.I had it happen on my car, thinking I could get away with just replacing the left rear got it back together and started seating the brakes down the street. Then the right rear seized, my brother had the same happen on his Volvo.
JAinsworth
They screw in. If you look at the piston, you will see two slots cut into it. Pick up one of these at any parts store and use it with a 3/8" drive socket wrench. http://partimages.genpt.com/partimages/219521.jpg
