We've all had problems with our airdam brackets rusting out on us and not being able to change out the airdam when it gets broken. That problem is now solved... I have 25 sets of stainless teel airdam brackets available for $30 a set plus 5 dollars shipping. Right now I only made a run of 25 to see how many people would be interested, and if there is enough interest I can make as many as needed. Pictures will be in my next post of the product. Thank you all for looking and PM me with any questions.

If I can get a full run of 25 it will be 40 shipped. It was originally 35 shipped but I didn't know about the side pieces. If I can only get 15 or less the price will only go up 5 more dollars on the set.

John,

Judging from the pics, one must reuse the upper brackets and acquire stainless nuts to use with your brackets, correct?

Also indicate what your Paypal account is, so that payments can be made to you.

Rgds,

You will get stainless steel everything... nuts, bolts, washers and brackets are all made of stainless steel. You'll get everything you need to get rid of your stock, rusty brackets.

As of now I don't have a paypal account, so I would prefer money orders. I'm not really familiar with paypal or how it works because I'm pretty new to all of it. All you need to do is send me a PM to let me know you're interested and I will PM you back as to where and to whom to make the money orders out to. I'm sorry if this is a bad way to do it, but I like to keep things simple. Not trying to be rude or anything, it's just how I would rather do business.

Thank you for your interest.

After re-reading your post, I understand what you were talking about. These brackets will replace the top bracket and the stainless bolts will be welded onto the upper. You will also recieve a lower bracket that slides over the bolts and then you will use the nuts and washers to bolt up the lower piece. If you don't think this would be the correct way to go about this what would you suggest? I'm very open to suggestions because I want to make this GP happen. I think it's a bummer when you go to replace an airdam and find that you're infested with rust. Edited by Big John

is this what you would use to straighten out the "curled corners" if so Im in

what do you mean by curled corners exactly? these will replace the front brackets, not the sides.

Since I thought it might form a problem in getting this GP off the ground, my wife and I have opened a paypal account. I'm not able to recieve any money until I get verified. Shouldn't take any more than two or three days (according to paypal). As soon as everything is in order I will post the e-mail address that is linked to the account. Thank you for your suggestions.

Are you talking about this bracket? there will be an upper bracket with bolts sticking through the bumper cover which will also run through the airdam. There will be no room for a bottom bracket because of limited space. I wasn't aware of this bracket until someone pointed it out. But I will have a run of these made and these will also come with the kit. However, I'm not sure what to do about the rubber pieces that go on the side bracket. So this will be up to the purchaser to decide whether or not they will use the rubber pieces.

The side brackets are being lazer cut as we speak. I went and talked to the guy I have cutting them for me and he said he will get enough done for 25 sets and start on them ASAP... He should have some done tomorrow and I will post pictures of the entire set as soon as I get some of the side pieces. If I can get a full run of 25 it will be 40 shipped. It was originally 35 shipped but I didn't know about the side pieces. If I can only get 15 or less the price will only go up 5 more dollars on the set.

As I said before, I knew nothing about the side pieces so I had to change the front brackets just a little. The only thing I did was use 1" stainless steel bolts instead of the 3/4" bolts for the outside of each bracket to compensate for the other bracket. So what do you guys say we get this show on the road? I will set a deadline of payment for the 30th of June if I can get enough interest. No deposit necessary, just add your name to the list and payment will not be necessary until the deadline. By that time I will have up pictures of the full replacement set. Sounds like a fair deal if I must say so myself.

I would like 1 or 2 sets after you confirm proper fitment, but think the GP would see better results if you extended the deadline beyond 6/30... only 7 days away. Edited by Dan

I'm going to make another run of these. It's just that I am trying to help my step-son (conquesttsiguy) get his car going before PF09, and any extra money I can get helps. I will be putting an airdam on my wifes car in a few days and I will take pictures and post to show fitment.

I will wait until you get the other brackets and post pics of proper fitment.

Thanks!

Dan

Were you wanting on the list Dan, or do you want wait until I get the other brackets and post pictures of the fitments?

Just wanted to give you guys an update. I'm still waiting on the side pieces to be made, so I have not other choice but to extend this GP past the 30th of June. As soon I get these I will do another update with pictures of the set and show fitment.
