Wow What happened!

why did you gut the engine and harness?

You and your brother said you were gonna continue restoring it??

You had a great car for 1500 US dollars

:( why would you part it??

The plan had been to pull the engine, transmission and install it into a 1974 Galant. What I'd pay my brother for the driveline would go towards him buying a housing from Bill Hincher and swap in a R154 transmission. My brother would then decide if he was going with a 4G64T or a 4G63T.

That was the plan until a couple of days ago. I'm getting white smoke out the exhaust and I suspect a cracked head. I noticed ALOT of shaft play in the turbo, which would explain the hesitation problem I mentioned to you during the test drive, but that you shrugged off.

s*** happens, I'll suck it up.

My brother has decided he doesn't want the car.

It would have been a clean and completely stock looking sleeper.

I guess I've bought myself a transmission.

I don't want to part it out because it's a clean and straight car but I can't have it sit either.
