aftermarket power antenna r they ok ?

my antenna fell off. I know most places will sell u a aftermarket unit. I just wondered if they fit ok,and if they last awhile. I believe mine was the original unit, so it probably lasted 18 yrs or so. thanx in advance !!!!

Thanx 4 the reply. I went down 2 Circuit City and they tried 2 fit a universal unit from antennaworx, and it didnt fit. Know of any other co. that may manufacture 1 that will work ?

it was a tight fit for mine as well.... im sure a circuit city employee would of given up ;)

 

granted mine is an old school one(probably 10 years old)... i cant remember the manufacturer.

 

on second thought i think it was a "champ" brand... are they still in business?

Go with what Eric says.

 

 

He is pretty much a car audio God and will not steer ya wrong. I was an installer for 3 years and thought I knew my stuff. Emann makes me look like an ameture.
