mrvwbug
I'm looking for some good solid performance tires for my 85 1/2 flatty. Do anyone have any ideas? I have the stock 5 bolt flatty rims on there as it was when new. I have Yokohama's on there now with about 35 percent tread left, but I wanted to start looking now as I can't find what I'm looking for at present. I like the larger groves like a Fuzion or Kumho. If you have any ideas or the answer please post your reply as I'm open to ideas! Please let me know.... Thanks! Mix_67
The Dunlop Star specs come in lots of sizes so if you can find a size that works for you I would recommend them. I auto-x on mine and they hold up as good or better than anything else I have driven on. Also have decent wet grip. They have the aggressive tread design like you mentioned that you liked. http://www.tirerack.com/images/tires/dunlop/du_dir_spt_z1_starspec_ci2_l.jpg http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Dunlop&tireModel=Direzza+Sport+Z1+Star+Spec
