Is this box the same for all the years?
-
I recently joined face book so i could check the car sites, one in particular is very interesting " Vintage Japanese Auto Enthusiasts " This group discusses all Jap cars and do not talk bad about anyone's vehicle they find the Starion's and Conquest very cool. No bashing at all. And this comes from hard core Toyota, Nissan, and Honda guys.

I've purchased many cars over the years that have had alot of work done to them and more money spent then what the owner was asking in return because they were tired of the project or found other uses for their time. Happens with most car guys at some point.

--SOLD-- 1988 Durban Widebody (Auto) in WI: Feeler --SOLD--
mopar jon replied to speedyquest's topic in Cars for sale
Very hard to understand why a rust free running 1988 Durban with extra cool rims was not purchased after all this time. Looks like a steal of a deal on such a rare color in a state that is hard to find rust free cars. -
I also have one , let me know

The 89 is for sure different , i tried to post the pic i was sent but it is formatted to large.

As far as i can tell, 1988-1989 are the same, even this e-bay listing shows it http://www.ebay.com/itm/Mitsubishi-Starion-Chrysler-Conquest-ECU-engine-computer-harness-wiring-loom-88-/221638897067?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AConquest&hash=item339ab52dab&vxp=mtr

'89 SHP Sunroof 5 Speed Two Owner in Upstate SC
mopar jon replied to theastronaut's topic in Cars for sale
I am surprised the car has not sold yet, its the right year, the right trans, and it is an SHP. The wheels alone make it worth the price. -

Starting My Intake Manifold (MPI)
mopar jon replied to RonnieJ's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
Has anyone ever looked into simply making an adapter plate to use any number of existing factory MPI intakes? The use of one particular Mazda intake seemed to be mentioned in the past. -
