  1. I have a red 87 Conquest for sale. I bought this car for my 17 y/o son (mistake). It wasn't running, needed a clutch when we bought it. Put in a new clutch/pressure plate/etc and got running. Runs like a raped ape, clutch won't hold. Got a 240mm flywheel, ACT clutch pressure plate, etc. Clutch pedal won't disengage clutch. New slave and master cylinder. OK now. Timing chain ticking? I dunno. Pulled motor and rebuilt. Balance shafts eliminated/jet valves eliminated/reconditioned rods, ARP rod bolts/head studs/Ajusa (spelling?) head gasket/all bearings/freeze plugs/Maybe more, I don't remember. Put all back together....rear main seal leaking....guess I boogered it up???? Anyone have a hand grenade?? Bought my kid a Durango and maybe we'll battle with Conquest later? Tired of lookin at it, hopefully someone on here with more time and patience would like to have it. It really is a neat car, but not good for a daily driver for a kid. Bunch of parts with it, some extra rims, etc. Car has progressive coil springs which lowers it. Have original springs. Extra injectors (put larger ones on car) Has one small dent behind drivers side rear wheel. Hopefully someone local is interested and can come look at it in person.   3. 1987 chrysler conquest tsi with a stock rebuild only 6800 miles on it. all parts we got for the rebuild were ordered from DAD on the starquest website! all black leather interior, "vader" interior, all electronics still work, electronic steering wheel controls, all lighting controls, this is very rare for conquests after market exhaust- slammed suspenison with progressive springs- silicone hosing and vacum lines- stock rebuilt engine-blow off valve good up to 18 pounds- after market auto meter boost and air fuel gauges- removed emission lines- good nj inspection until 2010 no frame rust or rot at all- small sub woofer and after market headunit and speakers- comes with a shed full of extra parts (SHP rims, 4 extra rims and any parts i have extra, brake pads, injectors, oem exhaust system, air filter system, and many more parts etc.)- upgraded injectors 2 big ones- perfect interior no rips or worn areas- hard pipe kits- MAF from a talon turbo door handles from an 89- intercooler from an 89 (bigger)- run 12 pounds of boost- posi rear wheel drive- brand new clutch kit (600$ )stage 2 ACT technology puck- many other things i cannot remember, this car is immaculate nothing is really wrong with this car, it will start right up and drive, you can drive it right home, and put it one the road, it has 6800 on the new rebuild, so its like a new car. this car turns heads like you wouldnt believe.   5. i got a 1987 Chrysler Conquest TSI, color is red, lowered, and just had its engine rebuilt. everything works perfectly in this car, all electronics work, even the steering wheel. email me with any specific questions. New clutch and flywheel installed and upgraded. i have the bigger flywheel with a stage 2 ACT clutch. No major body damage, and absolutely no frame rot. runs great, and is about to be tuned up soon. its my everyday driver, and i want to get something else i can tear up. this car is lowered, and i want something bigger i can play with i will take offers on trades for any lifted trucks or jeeps. i am asking 4500, even though i have spent way more then that on this car. my email is yourboysmitty1321@yahoo.com or u can call 8564916854 thanks, steve
  6. so anyway my car is getting 8 miles to the gallon, and smells of straight gas as soon as i start it. the car is running really rich, but the gauge reads lean. i replaced the injectors(cleaned and flowed), no help. i put in a new coolant temp sensor, and a new oxygen sensor too. the car is still running bad, and i do not know what to do. the gas is killing me and i need to figure this out asap. can anyone help.
  7. Nope. Pull it out and plug it if you want. I think its a 3/8 NPT.
  8. I bought a clutch kit from Advance Auto, it was made by zoom, and it wouldn't hold! Do yourself a favor and buy a good one. I got an ACT the 2nd time and it's the crap!
  9. when i start my car to go to school in the morning, it runs very low RPM's under 500. it sputters, and runs lean as well. is my O2 sensor bad? its also cold as well. what can i do to fix this?

  11. Nah, all looks in place. I was just reading in the SOS manual, and maybe I need to bleed the master cylinder, not the slave. I dunno.
  12. Ok, here's my deal. We just had engine out, rebuilt it and reinstalled. Much to my suprise after a coulpe leaks, etc it runs great. While doing the swap, I got a 240 flywheel from a member and upgraded all equip. Cut flywheel, new pressure plate, disc, TO and pilot bearing (ACT), new slave cylinder and master cylinder (Advanced Auto). Try to drive the car, can't get it into gear. Start car up in gear and drive around block. Clutch almost works(will slip some when engaged) but won't release. Bleed slave cyl...no help. Adjust rod all the way out on pedal...no help. Rig up an extender for rod on slave cylinder and clutch works if you go all the way to floor. As soon as you let it out some, it GRABS, no play. Is it possible the slave or master cyl are junk? I had similar problem with stock stuff I put in before the "mishap". Is the pivot ball adjustable for the clutch arm? I think that would help. Is there any other adjustment possible? I'm ready to give up on this thing. Many dollars spent. I guess you all have lived this. Please help if you can. Thanks
  13. does this come with a pressure plate as well? i am lookin for a whole kit. centerforce warehouse is on backorder for a while
