As a long standing member and regular reader of the Parts listed for sale or items being looked for, I'm getting really tired of having to open posts to have any idea what is addressed. At any given time a significant numeber of posts selling parts will have a tile of 'Parts for sale.' Well duh, that's the name of the forum. (ya, I know, frequently the poster can't even figure out they're on the wrong forum and post items they are looking for, but there's no explanation for stupidity.) I'd welcome a policy that moderators delete entries which give no indication of what is being sold in the tile of the posting. Members who post on the wrong forum and do nothing to correct the error (like deleting it and indicating so in the subject) could be suspended from posting for a couple of weeks.

2. Evidently some feel that they can sell only one item per posting, or have some notion that there is an advantage to doing this, rather than put them all into one or 2. I'd suggest no more than 2 'active' postings per member, and then include a box next to postings of items for sale or being sought, indicating that the items were sold or no longer being looked for. I signed up for the email notification of new posts in the Parts for Sale forum, but am about to delete it for all the emails I get from multiple postings by the same member. Quite frankly, I make a point of not transacting with these members, as I view it as an abuse of this forum.

I doubt that either of these come as surprises to any moderator, but are intended to support more stringent efforts to drive reasonable consideration for other members. I applaud all who freely contribute their time and efforts to provide this most valuable tool to entusiats of our cars. I'm sure many share my position on these points, and I hope that I have supplied some means to consider to reduce these annoyances. Thanks for your consideration.
