I picked up an '83 hood awhile back and it came with some aftermarket hood vents made by Burton. The sides aren't anything spectacular, but the main front vent is awesome. While it really doesnt do much anyway, it definitely lets more air in than the original. I am not aware if he made any more. I picked up an oem set of vents just to have, I may replace the side ones with the OEM at some point. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1988%20Chrysler%20Conquest%20Black/IMG_8443_zpsfbpz24lk.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1988%20Chrysler%20Conquest%20Black/IMG_8444_zpsf1mslfsl.jpg

Finalized my projector retrofit
logikfive replied to logikfive's topic in Stereo and Electrical Mods
I've been over the debate of LED, but to my experience, LEDs just arent up to par for main light sources yet. Yes, they are bright but their beam is never as nice as projector HID's. Maybe in a few years they will be something to consider, but at the moment not yet. -
Finalized my projector retrofit

Which are you looking for pictures of? Fog lights or headlights? I can take some. -
I have finally finished my retrofits, aside from converting the turn signals to LED. I have been posting on facebook about it, but figured it'd be a good thread to have going on here as well. Overall, the cost of the project is pretty steep, but I believe in doing it right once and never have to do it again. I figure about $250 to retrofit the headlights, excluding time, only parts. Headlights: - TheRetrofitSource.com Morimoto Mini H1 projectors w/ Gatling Gun shrouds - eBay H6054 "Pilot" brand clear housings -- After much research, I found these to be the best for plastic lenses (I didn't want glass) with 95% optically clarity to ensure no distortion on the cutoff - DDM Tuning 55W HID's -- I bought the H4 Bixenon kit, and also a H1 set of bulbs from them. Since you need the H4's Bixenon relay harness to power the cutoff solenoid (You won't use the H4 bulbs) but you need the H1 bulbs to use with the projectors. - Butyl Sealant to reseal them It took roughly 4 hours a side to retrofit, taking my time. Definitely NOT the easiest, but certainly not the hardest retrofit I've completed. Main issue was having to cut the back of the housing apart to fit the projector deep enough to clear the lens. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1988%20Chrysler%20Conquest%20Black/56EAC924-BF80-4446-873D-4D2451206541_zpsze17jl9o.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1988%20Chrysler%20Conquest%20Black/37D6F7D5-C6B7-461D-8389-58D8C0C34DBF_zpscryvzisw.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1988%20Chrysler%20Conquest%20Black/B0937DBC-B1DC-455C-B132-134FA3833250_zpscqtkocow.jpg Fog lights: - TheRetrofitSource.com Matchbox H1 Projectors - DDMTuning 35W H1 HID kit with relay harness - JustPaus Clear Lenses Overall, the fog lights were relatively easy to retrofit. It took me about 1.5 hours a side, for the actual fitment work. I took extra time to clean, paint and other things, but the retrofit itself was quick. I figure I have $300 into these in parts. http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1988%20Chrysler%20Conquest%20Black/84C06924-6AE9-44C6-857D-40EB35C0486B_zpsvovh8jah.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1988%20Chrysler%20Conquest%20Black/1DE39832-9F63-44D2-9FD4-A9E0468FC36B_zpsqsk0xs6p.jpg http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1988%20Chrysler%20Conquest%20Black/58241ECD-894E-4950-8F60-FAEB4285947E_zpsfzpfq7pc.jpg I will most likely be pulling the headlights and blacking out the shrouds on those as well, so they aren't so visible. I like the blacked out look. Joe

Still looking.. Black 86 manual belt b pillars bolts headliner
logikfive replied to Mach 5's topic in Items Wanted
Lotta guys looking for an 86 sunroof headliner. I'm about to give up and just deal with the seatbelt track guides. Argh. -
Sent you a PM
-
Yeah Cali, not driving that lol Mark. where you located? Ship quote to 14020?

Thanks guys, it figures now a bunch show up. I got a set now though. Thanks to Jeff Myers! I plan a retrofit to compliment my headlight retrofit, and the stock lenses won't work. Using these clear lenses without projectors is just silly lol http://i174.photobucket.com/albums/w119/logikfive/1988%20Chrysler%20Conquest%20Black/9A2B6993-9A0A-428D-876C-24090A55B33D_zps9wbcic35.jpg

Still looking for these too
-
Aaaaand still looking. Car is out of storage now and I'd really like to begin the conversion. Also, like stated the sunroof headliners are completely different shaped, cannot just cut a hole. If only it were that easy.

Not sure what Zafalla is willing to pay, but a set of 3 (oem) to me is probably worth $225. JohnnyWadd has the right idea

Should have no problem finding a nice red one lol
