  1. I have for sale 1986 dodge conquest. it has 70k miles and i believe i am the third owner. the car is clean and is in good shape. it is not a show car or a car that has been keep in storage its whole life. what we have is a clean well running survivor. i have owned this car for a few years now but a new project has taken precedence. only mods are 2.5 exhaust manual boost controller set at 12-13psi and zener diode mod. i never raced the car but i would let her stretch her legs every once in a while i put approx 1500 miles since i bought it. things that need attention are as follows: exhaust hangers (broken) radiator just starting to seep at the top tank new belts I tried to put a boost gauge in the instrument cluster and broke the clear lens so there is no lens in it now have the cracked lens. also ever since taking the instrument cluster out the oil pressure reads incorrect (low) i believe these to be the only areas of concerns with the car i will answer all questions to the best of my knowledge. i do not want to misrepresent in any way this car this will make someone a very nice car thanks for looking this car is in georiga torquebird@bellsouth.net asking 3800 or best reasonable offer for some reason the site will not let me load the pictures i have some pics on craigslist altanta just type in 1986 dodge conquest how do i make the pictures small enough to post here ???? thanks
  2. Do you have an instrument cluster lens?
  3. thanks guys on my way to the store
  4. Hey guys. where can i get injector clips or preferably new injector harness ends had my quest towed home the other day found both injectors unplugged one thing i neglected to check..
  5. i looked on ebay for the probe blow off valve with no luck anyone got any suggestions???
  6. very cool what power level might i be at with the stock turbo with this set up and what what turbo upgrade would you suggest. i dont need a race car already have one i just want a fun street car that might be on par with a srt8 charger also would 255liter intake pump be sufficient should i use a boost referenced fuel pressure regualtor with the megaaquirt
  7. let me see if i have this right ford throttle body mounted onto the glen's magna manifold gm map sensor gm cts iat sensors grand national turbo what would i use for a maf or would the vehicle now be speed density what is needed to bolt up the grand national turbo.... i would really like to do this conversion so i am trying to get as much info as i can. also my car is an 1986 conquest ts1 oh yeah any reccomentdations for upgrading the fuel side to keep up with the air side thanks for you help
  8. just looked at the megasquirt site very interestin i think this the way i will go i think i have the ability to get it very close then i can take it the tuner who did my dodge srt8 charger
  9. will the mega squirt be compatible with the stock sensors? like the maf or would the mega squirt convert the car to speed density???? i really like the idea of mpi on a budget
  10. with this conversion do you still use the factory ecu with the fuel ecu can you use the stock mas with this conversion for about 1300 dollars this sounds like a good investment do you have to get it dyno tuned or maybe get a wideband and play with fuel pressure injector pulse with and timming?? can anyone give me any contact info for the intake manifold????
  11. while i am new to this fourm i am a technicain. yesterday i took both cats of my conquest and put 2.5 pipe on it when i got it home and was letting the turbo cool i was standing behind it and it smelled bad also i was told these car where set up a little on the rich side i do not know if that is true or not i would think adding a single high flow cat were the second cat was might help you out and not loose that much performance
  12. thank you all for the information it is very enlightening. i may tinker a little with the throttle body set up for now just for fun but i will start saving for the other system i have built several cars in the past so i know i have to take baby steps and be careful not to damage the engine. if i were to purcahse the balance shaft elimination kit and jet valve kit to they come with instructions or should i review my service manual on the matter? also i talked to a gentleman yesterday who builds a lot of mitti. cars he said his friend may have an old manifold that would be like running to throttle bodies and four injectors with a piggy back computer has anyone hear of this??????
  13. how much would we be talking for stand alone and multport i know this is the best way what is the redline on the tbi 1986 engine i dont want to damage it i thought four cllinders liked rpm but if t makes max power right at 5000 then the car is working fine
