Dodge2004srt4
TD05-S16G turbo with exhaust housing no shaft play and no damage to compressor or exhaust wheel. There are no cracks in the housing, and a turbo timer was used with a 2 min cool down once I shut it off, so sometimes it ran at idle for longer. Max boost used was 16-17psi spikes. Used only Mobil 1 oil changed at 2500 mile intervals. Ran it cruising around town, just the occasional pull 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear pulls, I never made it to the drag strip or to an autocross event. Spooled instantly below 2700 RPM's on TBI, stock cam, head, and fuel control. Originally purchased from Mark/StarquestRims, installed on my car by the previous owner, ran for 2,400 miles by him, and then about 20,000 miles by me to get to work and cruising around town. My car dyno'd 218WHP and 310WTQ @ 10.0-10.8 AFR and slightly low compression on 1st cylinder 16psi boost. Power never dropped with a max RPM of 5800. TBI car, using stock injectors. The 3 slips I was given from the previous owner ran a best time of 13.64@104MPH with a horrible 2.23 60' and I have never had the time or money to run it. $400 shipped. Reasonable offers will be considered but since this turbo is mint I am not desperate to part ways with it. I figure these are much more new than I am asking for and someone could use an upgrade at a good price. If anyone has any questions feel free to ask or PM me for details. the only reason I am selling this for a different turbo is to make use of the ported OS valve head, cam, and the other extra goodies that went into my new build with a larger turbo. If anyone needs any other shots or angles let me know, the dark areas near the exhaust wheel were just sweat leaking from a hole in my glove, and the lines you see are from the casting, NO CRACKS!! Included, Turbo assembly, exhaust housing, clamp, oil drain tube installed (gasket, bolts, ect) Working 3 port waste gate (10psi 89 style) Used 3 in metal down pipe gasket, and a used 4 bolt manifold gasket. If this doesnt sell I will probably just keep it since its in perfect shape. As long as the spool is close to what this one was (instant) then Im sticking with the upgraded turbo I bought, if not then I know this can go right back on and not worry about it. hippynerd
$400 is beyond my budget, but I only need the turbo (its always nice to have spare parts though.) Would you be interested in selling just the turbo? It sounds like this turbo is used (20k + mile), but its in perfect shape? It seems like it would be best to rebuild it before installing, or has it recently been rebuilt? Dodge2004srt4
A turbo should last as long as an engine 100k miles at least. Its in its early years at best and was never run beyond its capability. It has no play, and was taken care of, run with full synthetic, and a turbo timer was used. All the feed lines and drain were stainless lines. Nothing more you could ask for from a turbo thats less than half of what it is new. If you want I can link you the site for the same turbo costing $1095 with no options and no housing? My price is very fair, if you want just the turbo....it will still be $400 shipped, I have no use for a housing and more than likely you will need this one to install this turbo. Your stock housing will not accept the turbo without machining. Chris.
hippynerd
Ooops, I confused this post with another one that included a ported manifold, and head studs, which is why I said I only needed the turbo (I didnt mean just the chra)Im sure your turbo would be great in this car, but I need to sell this car, and keeping cost down to minimise my losses is more important to me. Dodge2004srt4
Not sure what price you are trying to get for the car but personally I would rather buy a car with an upgraded turbo rather than a stock 12a. Im sure some would want it stock but they are slugs with the 12a compared to anything else. Good luck! Chris.

Dodge2004srt4
No sweat, if you have any detailed questions I would get with StarQuestRims (Mark) about those, All the info I know about when I had it and the basics that I already posted and discussed with you are the extent of what I know. Just tell him I got it from Ken who bought it from him. Let him know Im Chris with Ken's old Black Conquest and he should know about me. Since he had the turbo made or ordered for himself he could tell you where he got it from and anything he had done extra. I didnt see and porting on the outlet, or any porting on the exhaust housing that I could see since I didnt take it apart. Nothing was done to the manifold to housing connection which if I had it off I would open that up for more flow. Aside from that he may have ported out the housing some other than what needed to be done to fit the 16g in the 12a housing. The wheel didnt looked clipped and thats about it! Let me know how you like it, should spool instantly and give good power up to redline. I enjoyed it and it was a monster, hopefully I dont regret trading up for the larger one I bought but I think with all that I had and have done now the larger turbo should spool even faster than this one did. Keep in touch,Chris.
