Everytime I disengage the clutch the car will want ti idle @ 2k. Even when I'm deaccerating and I go under 2k I can feel the engine almost resisting and wanting to accelerate but its slowing down ( similar to hitting the brake and pushing the gas feeling )   Sometimes it'll rest on 1500. If I tap the gas lightly it'll raise the RPM and stick. If I smash it right quick it'll drop to relatively normal ( 900 I guess I need to readjust my throttle cable )   So what say you? If thats the case, anyo

Hey guys, I'm starting a new conquest project this weekend. As of now I have an original 89' auto Conquest with just the block sitting in it. The original transmission was taken out by the owner to do a 5 speed swap that never happened. Now I've got the car and I have available to me a stock 88 auto tranny that was taken out of a friend's previous parts car. I'm pretty sure he will sell it to me for cheap or just let me have it. Either that or I can find a reasonably cheap turbo 350 tranny to st
