Well I currently jst bought a conquest (89) and a 87. Both are TBI, and I was interested in making the '89 into a MPI system.   I have a few questions...   I got some good info with MegaSquirt(is that really a good system to use or what?)   I started looking at the MPI intakes, and said whoa, 400-500+ bucks for a intake!?!? I have removed the standard Radio and Tape Player and am wanting to install a better on.... at the mo I have Alphine Head Unit JBL 6x9 Speakers Kicker 15" Sub Kicker Amp.   When I go to install the head unit... it turns off... turns on... (between them is about 15-20seconds)?? This has totally baffled me? I have wired up a live feed direct from the battery and it still does it???? I ordered a set of copper exhaust gaskets form Mark a few weeks ago.  I sent the payment out and they arrived the next week nicely pakaged.  When I started matching them up, I noteced that my 3" downpipe actually has a different flange than a common 3".  I wrote to him and asked if he could make something custom for me.  He responded that night asking me what I needed.  Not only did he make me the gasket and shipped it that week, he charged me nothing.  FREEBEE!!
