A 3000gt engine swap possibility? Mighty Max block.

I'm looking to do an engine swap. I was probaly going to go with the g64b out of a mighty max.....but I also noticed that the mighty max come with the same engine as a 3000gt. From wikpedia: 6G72 The 6G72 is a 3.0 L (2972 cc) engine. Bore is 91.1 mm and stroke is 76 mm. SOHC 12-valve, SOHC 24-valve, and DOHC 24-valve versions have been produced. The latest version is used in the Eclipse and Galant. Output in 2004 is 210 hp (157 kW) at 5500 RPM with 205 ft·lbf (278 N·m) of torque at 400

is the stereo harness from 1986 to 1987 the same plugs..? my 87 was cut and i have the harness from the 86 or would i have to use an 86 stereo
Hurricane 4 - Water Sensor Questions

I'm moving a little further along with a Hurricane 4 installation on a Conquest, I’ve noticed a couple of things that I need some advice on: (1) Water temperature sending unit to the dash gauge. As stock, it’s in the manifold housing below the Tstat. I’m guessing a 16mm hole. I do not see an immediate way to install this to the Hurricane nor do I see anything in the FIP instructions that I have. Hurricane 4 - Intake Air Question

It looks like a few guys here have the Hurricane and are also in the process of working out details. I’ve been trying to look at photos of completed set ups to see how others routed their intake air. On the set up shown on the FIP site, the air is routed directly from the turbo to the TB without going through an intercooler with what looks to be 2 ½†or 3†pipe. Does this seem to work as well as the intercooled set up? I was thinking the smaller size and longer routing of the stock int
