Well it's that time again everyone loves seeing... A thread full of photos of stock parts. Every dollar I get from this is going right back into the car. If you want anything just shoot me a PM and we'll go from there. I'm going to send stuff flat rate postal if I can otherwise it's going to be UPS ground unless otherwise stated. I want to be fair on the prices, but in all honesty I don't know what some of this is worth so if you think the price is too high or whatever just let me know and we can work something out. I have no use for this stuff and I want people to be able to get use from it. It's been a long road with this car... I started working when I was 13 so I could save up some money to get a car and when I was 17 my older brother who owned a red starion in Hawaii during the late 1990's introduced me to the cars. I remember I would sit there on my computer watching that blue EIP Tuning conquest drag race because I loved the way the exhaust and everything sounded on that car and from that moment the addiction began. I signed up for the starquestclub(this isn't my orignal name) and then I remember 2.6L.US started and I remember reading through all the "Free-Mods" such as Dryer Hose Forced Cold Air Intake ahhh man not much has changed with the ol' starquest. When I was 19 my dad helped me do my suspension and we replaced the stock stuff with Tokiko blues and some ST lowering springs, did a short shifter, had some custom aluminum hard pipes made, rebuilt the top end and replaced the head gasket, did the BSE elim/timing kit, arp head studs, new non-jet clearwater head, pretty much all the tune up stuff in the engine bay you would do. The car was running great for a while...then eventually the turbo crapped out and made the decision to tear out everything I didn't want it the car and rebuild it the way I wanted it. Well I ended up buying a 2005 Subaru Impreza back in 2007 and that was my daily driver so I kind of gave up on the starquest at that point. It went on the backburner while I went to college and worked. Well 3 years ago this week my father passed away from cancer. When that happened I had to quit going to a university and start working full time and keep living with my mom to help her out with the bills and everything. Everyone keeps telling me I need to go back to school and blah blah blah, but as sad as this may sound all I really want in the world at this point in my life is to work and get my 87' conquest on the road again. I really love my starquest and miss driving it more than anything. I just sold my Subaru in May so I can focus on the conquest and get er' going again. Anyways, I am glad to see that the forums are still active and there are still people making new parts for the car. If anyone wants anything here just send me a PM and I'll give you my paypal info.
