  1. Like me i'm sure many of you have a broken or starting to deteriorate defroster grill. Here is my fix for it. The only way to get them off is to have the dash off. I was doing the heater core so I took them off and used them for a template. I used 16g flat stock and a 4" grinder with a cut off wheel and a flapper disc. It was a little time consuming but I think it turned out well. I have not attached them yet. I was thinking of using some silicone to keep them in place.
