I've tried looking around in a few places for some help here, but no luck- bought a rear strut bar with the battery relocate bit on it, had no tie downs in the front (figured id clean up the engine bay instead of finding some tie downs and a battery that would fit) anyways, ive made new wires for the ground, block to alt, to chassis, and now just have to run pos. and neg. cables through to the engine bay from the trunk i assume the only way to do this is run them through a grommet in the firewall and go through the car, just through the center console? and what about the rear seats? if anyone has experience with this sort of thing it would be greatly appreciated have no previous experience running wires through an interior thanks Aaron

So I need an answer to this annoying issue that I can't, for the life of me, find an answer to. So when I replaced my battery, I purchased the Duralast Gold BCI Group 51 battery. (Which is the battery size Batteries Plus & Auto Zone told me the StarQuest uses) The battery however, was physically smaller than the battery that was in my Conquest when I purchased it. The battery tray looks worn enough to be the OEM tray, but I haven't actually checked. (It's missing the bolt downs) Did the group 51 battery get smaller over the years? Or is the old battery just an incorrect size? Note: I've gone through countless pictures of StarQuest engine bays and can't figure it out... I'll throw up a picture as soon as I get home from work today.

Before I go away on business for 2 weeks, car is starting up just fine. I try to start it today, first time since I get home and it won't start. I think nothing of it and jump it. It starts right up. Minute I disconnect my truck the car shuts off. So, I hook it back up again and let it run longer. This time I disconnect my truck and the car stays running. I take it for a 15 minute drive down the highway to charge the battery, come back, park. Turn off the car and it won't start back up. No interior lights, dash, nothing, just turn the key and nothing, not even a clicking sound. Bought the battery brand new last October. In my past experiences w/ cars and batteries when they do that they are usually shot - I'm just having a hard time believing sine the battery is only 10 months old. I looked around the car, it doesn't seem like I left anything on while I was away. Input?
