  1. I'd like to sell my 83 hood. Overall its in good shape, and its very straight. There is a little rust bubbling on the top side, but its not rusted through on the backside. It was painted silver about 6 years ago, and looks ok. If you respray it, I'd think you can take care of the rust before it becomes a real problem. I'd like $500 for the hood, pickup in Doswell va 23047 is greatly preferred. I would be willing to travel a little (about 2 hours or so tops) to help get the hood to you. Feel free to shoot me a PM, or give me a call/text at 804-314-5938 Phil http://s45.photobucket.com/user/philipbmckinney/library/?sort=3&page=1 I cant seem to get pics to load to the page but if you copy/paste that link in your browser it should work. Thanks!
  2. As the title states I have a really nice black straight line cloth interior from an 88-89 that I'd like to sell. I dont have the doorpanels, but I have everything else including the rear side and top bolsters. The seats are in fantastic shape. One of the top rear bolsters has a tear in the corner, and the tops of the rear seats and bolsters have faded to blue. The stitching is starting to pull away on the drivers shoulder seam, but could certainly be stitched up pretty easily. The seats dont have any stains, and would look and feel much nicer then dry 20 year old leather If your hoping to do a black interior swap, I have several other black pieces including a flawless dash and maybe even carpet (if i can find it!) that I would be happy to include. Pics can be seen in the link below. Any questions feel free to PM me or call/text at 804-314-5938. I'd like 400 for the complete interior. Local pickup would be much preferred to shipping. Thanks! http://s45.photobucket.com/user/philipbmckinney/library/?sort=3&page=1
  3. Hey guys, I am trying to reduce the collection at my parents house, since Im not there a whole lot these days. My dad will show the car for me (he is really knowledgeable about our cars, so he could answer any questions or concerns you might have. If youd like to look at it, shoot me a PM or call/ text me. Ill have some interior pics up in a few days. Just to clarify, though my location is currently Washington state, the car is back at my parents house in Doswell, VA 23047 Its a white on maroon 87 5 speed, with 81,000 miles, and the only modification is an HKS catback exhaust (a nice, mellow tone). It still has the factory turbo, and runs very well. I have done a lot of maintenance on the car, such as replacing the U joints, ignition coil and spark plugs, 02 sensor, distrubutor and vacuum advance, replaced the secondary injector, rebuilt the throttle body, and replaced/ inspected and cleaned all 3 fuel filters and the fuel tank on the car. It is ready to be driven and enjoyed! The clutch was replaced at 78,000 miles by the previous owner. The exterior of the car is in really nice shape for the age. The airdam is perfect- no cracks or issues with it (which is a rarity). There is some minor rust on the body, as well as evidence of some bondo work, which you can see in some of the pictures. Its nothing more than you would expect for a 26 year old car, and the underside is not rusty, which is also a common issue with these cars. Its not a garage queen show car, but is a very nice driver. The interior is also very nice, with the exception of some sun fading on the dash (Again, very common for the 87 maroon dashboards). The leather seats are in excellent shape, and all the electronics work as they should. Even the radio antennae still works! As stated earlier, the car is all stock. The windows work, the radio works, even the cruise control still works. The AC system is complete, but isnt functioning right now. I will try to put some freon in this week and update with the results. Also, I have a nicer passenger side taillight that will be on the car before it is sold. (you can see the current one is a little ugly) Overall, this is one of the nicest, lowest mileage conquests Ive ever owned (I have had several throughout the years). This car has been thoroughly gone through, and is in great shape for the age. The inspection is good through the end of the year. I am asking 4,000 $3500 OBO for it, and if you would like to come check it out, contact me at 804-314-5938. Thanks! 4. Hey all, up for sale is my red 88 Conquest. Its a 5 speed, has 160,XXX miles, and from what I was told has a freshly rebuilt engine. I bought the car last fall from a friend, as he was tired of messing with it and wanted to part it out. I thought it was too nice to be scrapped. I replaced the rear end, as well as other little things here and there. Its worth noting, the rear end had been swapped out at some time before with a 4 bolt rear end, and I put a 4 bolt rear end back into the car, as the axles, torque tube, and hubs were all correct. The rear end I put in came from a very well maintained car. The previous owner claimed it had a very recent rebuild. Though I cant verify that, I believe him. The engine bay is painted black (so the engine was obviously out) and the head appears to be brand new. I was told it had a forged bottom end, and ported head, etc. I cant claim that is true, but I took the valve cover off and it is a non-jetvalve head with mechanical lifters. The car seems to run well to me, but I believe needs a valve adjustment as the motor has a slight valve tick. The car does have fantastic oil pressure though. The interior is black leather, and is pretty nice with the exception of the drivers seat. Ill try to get some pics up soon of it. The car has tokiko struts and I believe eibach lowering springs. They are blue. Feel free to correct me if I have guessed wrong LOL. There is some rust, and the car could use some body work. I think the pictures are more flattering than real life, but thats just me. The paint is not as faded as most RO4 cars get, but there is some fading on the bumpers. There is also some damage on the drivers door and drivers fender. Im happy to give the new owner another door. Overall, this is not a show car, but would be a great first conquest for someone, or could make a good daily driver. The car needs a windshield, and could use new front rubber and an alignment. If my asking price is met, I can include a windshield. Id like to see 1800 for the car. More pics will be coming soon. Feel free to call or text me with any questions, my number is 804-314-5938, and the car is located in Doswell, VA 23047.
