So I finally got a set of c6 z06 mufflers with the vacuum butterfly valves. Only problem was, I only need the baffles, so I cut them out and rewelded the tips back on. Payed 300, sold for 300. Picked up some 4" pipe to use as the muffler canister. Got some perferated flat sheets and made tubes and cones out of them. Just need to weld it up and pack it with material..? (not sure what to use yet) Mostly all I can find is motorcycle muffler stuff..any ideas? Should be kinda cool and instant (going to set it up to open at anything over 1/2 throttle) I just hope it quiets it down a little bit when they are closed... So far I have $26 invested in them..
