It does move. It has not been welded shut. I planned to have a local machine shop make me a bracket to hold the wastegate acuator. I just never got around to it.

I am not a Turbo expert so I will tell you what I was told when i bought this. 17C off GMC cyclone this mounts up to a Starion manifold but will need a external wastegate set up or a custom bracket made to hold wastegate acuator. As you can see this turbo is in good shape and there is not shaft play. I had this work done before I got deployed and now I have sold the car so its still all new. I paid $350 for the work not counting the shipping or parts. Stress Relieved and painted with 1200 degree ceramic spray paint. The paint looks good but it is a spray paint so it could hold up for 6 month or 6 years but the manifold is in good condition. Set of good injectors out of 88. I ran these in my 89 SHP for a couple of weeks to make sure they were good. I also ran some injector cleaner through the car while these were installed. No cracks or damage. The cars runs fine. Please dont try and blast me on the boards. The only times the car sputtered is when running at 70 mph and i told you it was most likely the BOV. I have driven this car like this for 12,000 miles with no issue. Replace the BOV with a new one and you should be golden.

The plugs are NGK BPR7ES. They are not fouled i drove the car two hours to meet you in DC and my girlfriend followed me all the way. The car did not have any smoke. Most any car at WOT will smoke. You do have to remember this is a 22 year old car and if you beat on it you will break it.

The problem is in the BOV. The way i drove the car i never saw this issue except with steady throtle at 70 mph. I replaced the vac line to the BOV and it improved. Find a hard pipe and a BOV and it will be a non issue.

He just drove away with it. The fiji has a new home in S.C.

What do you think the car is worth then. I looked to see what the last 85.5 sold for but I did not find any running cars that sold. I just thought the 85.5 intercoled 5 spd quest were really rare.

I found a 85.5 today that the guy might sell me. It's a build date of May 1985 on the door. The paint code is X56. 97K on the car. I am just putting this out there to see if anyone is looking for this car. It has a low budget repaint and the car looks all stock. it does have a power sunroof I this its aftermarket but not sure. it also has the mud guards on it. There is rust on both fenders at the top close to the windsheild. I dont have a lot of history on the car but if you are interested i can pick it up and work out a deal for you. Car is still forsale. I have had several tell me they are interested and serious but no one has come up with the cash. We close on the new house in a few weeks so i will be busy moving and will not have time to sell. If you want this car let me know soon.

I did not post anything about the frame rail this time because it will be fixed before i sell the car. The hole is only about the size of a silver dollar. Body and frame shop that painted the car said that it would not effect the car. I have put 12,000 miles on the car with no issue but i do have an OEM frame rail to replace it with. I will either have a shop repair or replace it.
