  1. It is made for these cars. A member made them several years ago. They were made for the wide bodies and look good. They stick out about a half an inch around the front and on the sides they stick out a little further.
  2. I got this about 4-5 years ago and never installed it. My purpose was to use it for the look and protection of my air damn. I dont think it is really designed to provide any real down force but if you have a nice air damn and you want to protect it here you go. It is made from a Polycarbonate so it is tuff and I have the mounting hardware. i pulled to protective film from one side to look at the material but the other side still has the protective cover on it.

  3. The plugs that came on the car are the correct NGK plugs. The injector clips are newer I installed them when i got the car. I also replaced the vacume advance on the car. I do agree that you should pull the dis and clean it.

I would set the boost back down to 13psi. The car was set to max 9.5 from factory so when i was running it at 13 it was already pushing the stock computer. I can send you the stock FPR that came off the car and you can set everything back to factory. You should find a stock pipe and house and remove BOV all together. They are cheap and easy to find. Once these mods are removed you have a better chance and finding the problem. Once you figure it out you can mod the car in any direction and if anoter issue come up you have a better chance at figure it out.

PM me your mailing address and I will send you the stock FPR.

  4. The seperator was included with the other removed stock items if you need it. i am glade to hear that the issue is corrected. The main purpose of the BOV is to take back pressure off the turbo between gears. it is a little more complex than that but for general purposes this is why most people use BOV's. It will extend the life of your turbo. You do not get any HP gain in reality it can hurt the over all performance if you dont route the air from the BOV back into the system. The mass air flow sensor has already accounted for that air and now it is out of the system. A lot of newer turbo car vent the bov back into the system and several guys have done the same thing on thier quest's.
  5. I removed the oil seperator. There is just an Air Filter venting the valve cover. When i had the car you could see the manual boost guage creep up to zero while at 70mph. When to manual boost guage hit zero that is when it would start to sputer. I just got used to it and watched the boost guage so I would accelerate or back off just a bit and the boost guage would drop back down the the vac side while at speed and the sputer would go away. I hope this info helps Supra 550 and you guys figure out what is going on. I crushed the 1st G BOV and checked it with a handheld vac guage.
  6. The wheel does fit in the factory TD05 housing. I have another TDO5 that is all stock and this turbo will clamp. The TDO5 housing pictured has had some proting work done for better flow but the section for the wheel is all stock.
  7. $300. shipped

going on Ebay if not sold by 5-19-11

I will include a Turbo Timer with Starion/Conquest wiring harness. The turbo timer is new never used.

  8. I took a better look at the turbo today and the hot side wheel has been machined down to fit the housing. I have been told that this set up is very good for TB car for good power and little lag.

Here is another picture that might help you see the hot side wheel. It looks like about a 8th inch clearance from the wheel to housing.

If you are interested in this shoot me a PM I will take a reasonable offer.
