  1. my car is an 87 fatty i assume thats what it fits may fit other widebodys i bought the car 1 1/2 - 2 years back i just pulled the car out of storage (been there for over 10 years) car had louvers and bra inside of it (louvers already sold)

  6. Power Adders a Modifed Stock airbox with a 1G mass airflow sensor With K&N Filter. Includes the Wiring harness Top End Performance upper intercooler pipe powdercoated in black with TurboXS H-RFL blow off valve, TurboXS manual boost controller and everything needed to hook it up to your Conquest or Starion. This includes Racing Sports Akimoto silicone vacuum/boost tubing, couplings, misc. fittings and quality tie wraps (the kind with metal inserts). Everything here is in like-new condition and was only used for a few thousand miles. 88/89 Starion / Conquest ECU in a 87 housing. Direct bolt in for you older Conquest / Starion for better fuel mapping and 10lbs of boost (instead of 8)

Hey, i just pulled one of my quests out of storage that i bought a few years back this car has been in storage for 10+ years i need some quick cash to help buy a snowsled off a freind and have a few items that were in the car i dont need im assuming these items are pretty rare, and they are at least 10 + years old assuming they are older / original type items that probalby very hard to come by these days.   13. wow that really sux man... 13K is a great buy for someone.. i was recently thinking of selling off all my 2JZquest project stuff as i still dont have time or place to make it happen.. but for 13K for a complete one i might as well not even bother! if it doesnt sell and you part her out, ill take first dibs on your motor mounts, driveshaft, tranny mount! (or anything else id need for a direct swap in with my motor) maybe then ill get motivated to get going on my swap Later man Koren

  15. sounds like you are getting there... if thats one of those ebay turbos, I'd plan on getting a diff turbo. most likely the cause of your boost problems not to mention do you want to risk your motor on a 200 dollar turbo? a PT67 would be about perfect for an insane street setup (its what i wanted, but ended up wtih a 61, about 300 - 400 rmp lower spool, but at the loss of 100 - 150 HP) Seems like there was a PT67 for sale in the classifieds here for $600ish just recently. The one thing to deffinately not cheap out on when building a budget car would be the turbo setup.. ETS makes a really sweet Supra setup for way lower then its competition... still too much for me at this point but it would be nice in a 2JZ starion. ETS Supra Kit i ended up settling for a used SP budget t61 setup. Not as nice as the ETS but it will get the job done, if i ever get to build my 2JZ Quest!
  16. i sold all my brakes and rotors, i thought this thread was dead and needed the $$ for 2jz conversion parts.. ill be keeping my eyes open on if this turns into anything, once im 2jz powered, i be needing something to slow her back down again!

  21. So Manned up last night and made the call They are gonna sell it to me for $900 bucks!!! :twisted: :twisted: YEAH!!! So Project "Mitsuyota Suparion" Has officialy begun! (althought really project 2JZ started over 2 years ago when i started planning it for the 240sx and started aquiring parts / knowledge for the 2JZ) Unfortunately im on extremely limited Resorces (time and money) so this project may drag on a few years but who knows - ? i already have a lot of the parts ill be needing Ill try to document things i do along the way, and maybe put them up on a webpage or something for others enjoyment / use if they attempt the swap. anyone local who wants to help out is more then welcome to, im deffinately going to need some. and thanks to all who will be helping me out with answers to questions i am sure to have along the way! Yeah, i pretty much made up my mind as i was creating the post goign over the pros and cons.. i sold my 97 240sx a few weeks back so now im pretty much commited.. unfortunately i still dont own the shell yet, and now am kinda scared to call again on it.. its gonna suck if they have decided not to sell it to me.. --------------------------------- 2jz of RB26 was a no brainer for me 2jz setup 1600 bucks +500 dollar tranny, RB setup 3500 bucks plus you need the 1500 + rb25 tranny JZ = way stronger of a motor so you can run 500 - 650 hp with no worries and just parts availability. just sourcing a water pump for an RB might take months and $$$ also the number of tuners that are familiar with the rB26 are Few The RB is a great motor, but you definately can go for broke building up an RB in the USA

  24. did this ever become a kit or just a DIY type deal Anyone running these? use 300zx rotors? or just starion rotors with ZX30mm calipers VR4 Rotors are HUGE - i have a set that i was going to use on my 240sx with 300zx calipers - wonder if it would be worth figuring out new brackets to adapt to the starion.
