wonder how close that venom intake would match up with ours, would be nice to just weld on a new flange to fit our head. only if the world were that simple.

the guy that is two houses down from me has a older supra with the rear wing on it. i find myself at night in my garage with a ski mask and a screwdriver.

capasitors store power for the amp so when it draws it big power at its peak point it draw from it and not the battery so your lights dont dim. that has nothing to do with filtering the noise he is hearing. chances are its something grounded where it isnt supposed to be. just go through and make sure your ground wires are gound to the body and not with another electrical componant. also try isolating the problem by unhookin the amp and see if the noise is still present, if it is chances are its in the head unit ground. and as just paus said bad rca wires can cause it too, nothing like running sound to the amp threw some walmart cables :roll:

fuel injection pro has a system for the magna intake. www.fuelinjectionpro.com by the time you get done peiceing a magna together you would be better of to go with there hurricane complete setup and be done with it.

i have a silly question? could you use the supercharger to spool the turbo?instead of the exaust pressure to eliminate all the heat generated from it. or could you run the supercharger into the air inlet of the turbo to keep it spooled at all times then all the air is still running through the intercooler? i have a supercharged 2004 pontiac gtp,and i tell you i love the supercharger, it doesnt have lag because its turning all the time. you hit the gas and its go from the second you hit the gas, no waiting for it to reach its spool up rpm. the car produces 260hp from the factory and can hang with any rustang any day of the week. i have always wondered how the starion would perform with a supercharger on it. keep us updated!

wouldnt it be easier to get a stocker from someone that has replaced theres and either a: out that in place of yours or b: disassemble it and use their working bulbs.

is there any 2 inch or 2.5 inch that will work in place of the 3 and 3.5 so that it can be used after the turbo?

just a note on wheels that fit the starion. my parts car is in the garage with a set of old probe gt wheels i had (ford) and the other day for giggles we took one of my stock wheels from my pontiac gtp (gm) and it bolted right up. the offset wasnt right obviously but i was still shocked to see that it would fit ford and gm wheels. leaves you pretty open for wheels. i know i had my probe gt wheel onmy 2wd ranger also so you could try searching on them to pull up more wheels, i would assume that 5 bolt mustang wheels would fit as well.

what are the chances of cuttin the opening in the 83 hood out to make it semi functional, would be nice to have some more air moving threw there to get rid of the heat.
