  1. Ya it's kinda hard not to crack the windshield when removing it also. My old windshield was super glued in was no chance of not breaking it. $300 plus if you can find one usually.. unless your lucky and someone has one n stock locally.
  2. At the exhaust shop we used the opposite technique. We turned the welders up as hot as they would go. Made some really nice welds that way. But you had to be fast with the torch. Practice and muscle memory were essential. Hot and fast or low and slow, both work. Low and slow takes less skill so it's a better place to start learning. Once you get good then you can crank up the heat.

Yea I didn't think of the fast method.. What ever works for ya . Fast...slow..you got this.

  3. We found a little 110cc Loncin brand.(Chinese knock off) 4 wheeler on the side of the road. Got it fixed up for my youngest son. Just needs plastics for it now.

I guess who had it before wrecked it and their parents said ..no more kid and put it in the trash.

It runs awesome. Kid loves it. And it was free!

Other than that it's almost a full time job keeping 2 Polaris 500s and all our vehicles running. Not to mention all the lawn equipment and chainsaws , generator, ect.

Invest in some of that Stabil fuel additive it can make a difference if you let stuff sit up for a long time guys.

  4. Yea just got it running good. Guess the little hose by the water pump blew and I ran out of water.

The temp gauge never showed above half way mark,so it's not working properly.

By the time I got off the bridge and cut it off the head toasted. Gonna hook up a new temp gauge for sure.

    Then..

I'm just gonna do a rebuild on it with a new head as soon as I get funds.

Had it running good for a minute :(

  5. Had some "fun" with my starion since i was testing out my new cooling system changed it about 2 weeks ago and car was below the half mark on the gauge and i was dandy on the way home temp started to rise... Worried i went straight home and car started puking coolant everywhere didnt blow a hg thank God my lil coolant hose on the waterpump swolled up and popped. Fixed it and the fun starts all over again

I had that same little hose pop on me after a fresh new head and rebuild.

Hate that little weak point of our cooling system.
