Hey Starquesters, I will be getting a silver '87 conquest in a few weeks. It is a probate deal with a very close friend. I've only seen the car once, and fell in instant lust. The car is in FANTASTIC SHAPE with only five thousand or so miles. Long story, but for me, I get a great ending. Don't worry about my buddy, he just got back home with a new ARC Viper. Here is the issue at hand, the only thing wrong with the car is a cracked front air dam. (They must be made that way at the factory.) I got the material on how to patch that yesterday in another forum. But, what is the safest way to bring this car back to life. I do not know when it was driven last. I already plan on changing all the fulids, filters. (oil, brake, coolant w/ flush, battery, differential, manual trans fulid every thing) where do I go from there. I want a nice reliable fun daily driver, not a 13 sec. car. I am too old for that, got it out of my system decades ago. This is a great source of info, seeking help.
