  1. yes the internals, not the actuall bell housing........
  2. buschur racing set-up will cost around $2000 with out tranny. includes mount/adapter brackets and torque converter the D50/mighty max trannies do bolt up. not the strongest but work for awhile. starion trannies dont bolt up but will handle the power. the starion guts DO fit and work in the d50/MM trannies. trannies are about the same its the bell housings that are different. so if you have some good tranny knowledge you can swap the 2 bell housings and your done. strength of the 88-89 starion tranny using the bolt-on d50/mm bellhousing. this setup will handle more then most of you will ever throw at it. and if anyone is interested i have the correct D50 tranny for sale. here is a picture bolted upto the 4g63 http://www.grizzlymotorsports.com/tranny_on_block_1.jpg
  3. i tried doing a search but i cant seem to find any info on the tranny gear ratios anyone have this info? thx
  4. the tranny you need is from a 83-88 mighty max or d50, pretty sure those are the years, dont hold me to that. also must be from a 2.0 liter motor. here is a pic of mine with measurements of the tranny and block http://briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/dsm2nv/lst?&...rc=bc%26.view=t starion tranny is 13.25 inch bellhousing. the 4g63 and the tranny you need is 12.25" bellhousing. you need a FWD 4g63 flywheel the d50 tranny is junk if you plan to build real HP..... i have seen the starion guts swapped into the d50. its more then just unbolting the bellhousing and bolting on the starion one. does anyone have directions to swap the tranny guts?
