  1. I thik its the injectors. I'm runing #52lb injectors and thats the only thing I can see that would have to increase to cause a problem.
  2. where would I post teh program at? shoot me a e-mail.
  3. well I resided to put a stop on the MS project. its been one to many problems. so I desided to just cut my loses and go back to TEC2 and figure out the running problem. The running problem I been having it normal driving it drives perfectly fine. No cut off, back fires or anything. Starts up fine and all. I can drive all the way up to 7000 RPM off boost and no problems. But here is where I having a problem. when I boost it is just breaks up when I start to go up in the RPM. by breaking up I mean it back fires and bucks like hell. its not a fuel problem because I datalogged it and afr was on the money. Pulled the plugs and plugs are ok. which makes me thing its in the ignition some where. I spraied the plug wires down with soap and none was arking or sparking. car wasn't loosing idle or anything while doing so. so which makes me believe that its the coil packs or the crank sensor. it might still be the wires and it has a internal problem that not coming out on the insilation. One thing I noticed with teh crank sensor is the sheild wrap the sensors are normally in isn't there. my sheile wrap I mean the gray insolation int normally in and that covers the crank sensor wires up to teh tec2. Anyone have any suggestions about my problem?
  4. hmm must not have been on here for a while. well I got Innovate LC-1 working on TEC2. it reads it perfectly and been tested by me. I was runinng it on tec 2 for about a month then uninstalled it to ship to NY to get it fitting for my Megasquirt harness. I have the information here: http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/forums/...read.php?t=2823 here is the setting I used: http://forum.vwsport.com/pics/data/500/medium/egocal.jpg http://forum.vwsport.com/pics/data/500/lm-1analog1.jpg they worked perfect and I dataloged both to verify.
  5. daily driver. I would say MIGHT. but remember its not being made anymore . for the disc. you can just go to there website and get the software. its either tec1 or 2.
  6. well i'm using it on a vw but my buddy had a GM knock sensor in his conquest running tec2 and it worked. it generally works like this if its a one wire sensor just that wire goes to tec2 knock port. if its a 2 wire then one goes to ground and the other goes to the knock port on tec2. to test the knock sensor what you do is go into the tec2 settings and adjust knock sensitivity down to 5 or 10. and retard to 5-10 degrees. then just have the car running and use a whench and tap on the knock sensor bolt. that will sumulate knock and you will hear the motor pull back timimg. if just have someone looking at knock in engine monitoring screen. I'm on AIM all the time just hit me up if you need help. derrickmd18
  7. I'm runnig a knock sensor in my car. it works fine. just a signal and ground wire to hook up.
  8. Anyone running a wideband controller on tec2? I'm looking for a wideband I can setup and run on it. if anyone is running one or know of one that will work on it please reply.
  9. I found out some really interesting information about TEC 2 last night. I was tuning my car and I was getting a breakup at 15+ psi. I thought it was maxing out the injectors. wel I went and got a dyno pull and guess what the TEC2 was reading 11:1 AFR on the monitoring screen when actually it was WAY richer. the wideband stopped reading after 9:5.1 AFR and it was richer then that. but here is what i found interesting the monitoring screen AFR is off. if you datalog a pull it shows 10:1 AFR and won't show lower which is what it really should read. Just posting this for the TEC 2 guys. don't truse the monitoring screen datalog and review the log for actual AFR readings.
  10. check your battery compension setting. also check your crank sensor wirespull on them a little to make sure they are in the connectors. I had this problem 2 weeks ago the ground wires to the crank sensor came outr a little and the car cut off. didn't figure out what it was until I brought a new sensor.
  11. Hi. heefner your in Baltimore MD so am I. maybe we can meet up some time to share tec 2 tips.
  12. ok. I have 52lb injectors. i'm going out tonigth or tomorrow to turn the car and lean it out
  13. Hi I wanted to ask you I'm currently re tuning my car with a wideband 02 sensor. I'm into the single digits in the VE table with tec 2 at 15psi. should I go into the - with VE or lower my TOG? I'm currently at a 11.3 TOG with a -.875 IOT. my VE is at 2% at 200kPa and 7% at 230 kPa. AFR is in the 10:1 with 22-24 advance at 200kPa and 23 at 230kPa. think I should go into the - in the VE table or lower my TOG?
