  1. Hey very interested Do you ship to Canada?
  2. hey guys, I have this for sale http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/megasquirtii-programmable-efi-system-pcb30-kit-black-case-p-119.html looking for 240us plus shipping never even opened, just dont have the time to assemble, my loss your gain please pm if interested.
  3. I did a top mount for a few reason..keep it out of the mud....almost no room for a front mount...short pipes for faster spool. If it was a 2wd built for performance I would deff front mount but for this truck top mount seemed to be the best
  4. My set up was originally na so I have no lines to start with
  5. I am just running a stock turbo set up at about 7psi. I am running a top mount intercooler passenger front side of engine bay with a little hood scoop and sealed nice against the hood. Nice short pipes makes for nice fast spool...I wanted all low end engine almost never sees above 4500-5000rpm. Sitting in traffic on say a 10 Celsius day it will great soak to about 40-45 but that's cause i have not got my intercooler fan installed yet At cruise maybe 20-30 Celsius and prob 30-40 under hard boost. Sounds like I have some room to improve...some more heat shields and the fan I think will go a long way...
  6. Hey guys just finished installing the turbo on my mighty max and just wondering what you guys are kinda ball park running for intake air temps say Sitting in traffic in a spring day Cruising at highway speed on a spring day Aggressive driving I kinda have a odd set up and with out some base numbers I can't tell how efficient I am running Thanks
  7. Hey guys..ended up have ten kits ready.... Four sold all ready Three kits pending Three kits left and one just adapter and hardware still need to find a sensor for it. These are selling faster then I can find sensors. Pm if interested. Mike
  8. There oils contain no Molly except for the one I posted...it's full of Molly when you pore it out it's a dark metallic grey. It actually feels wrong as you put it in but from previous cars that I know that used when the engine was taken apart you could see the bearing surfaces had a grey hue to them
  9. Yeah I kinda feel the same about the older engine liking dyno oil, hence this semi synthetic should be happy on my fresh tight rebuild. I love the molly additive with the lack of zinc in new oils and 10w40 seems like a great happy weight. I have used there 5w40 in my dsm for years and the engine seeems to love it, super smooth and quite comparred to mobile and oils like that.
  10. hey just wondering if any one has any experience running liqui moly 10w40 oil http://www.liqui-moly.de/liquimoly/produktdb.nsf/id/en_1091.html?OpenDocument&land=DE in a turbo 2.6 in the summer months? I get a great deal on this and seems decent for the price.
  11. hey guys i have six kits available, i have had so many pms I can not keep track of how many peolpe all asked for them. If you still need one please pm me, it will be first come first serve at this point. Thanks for your patience
  12. what do you mean by standard tuning?? i deffinitly have staged tuning in my tuner studio
  13. In the summer I will prob run a 10w40 but in a Canadian winter 5w40 is all ready on the thick side. But so far the motor seems to like it...she was just rebuilt..has great power and uses no oil... I remember some of my old 2.6s using 20w50 lol
  14. Yah its the 5w40 us spec oil... it's still great oil not being category 4.. Used it in my dsm for the last four years and is the only oil that makes it per like a kitten Plus through my work I pay 30 for a 5l jug so it's not bad at all I would love to hook up the coolant limes just don't have a easy spot to tee into.. I use a special thermostat housing so can't tee into it and looks like a 89 water pump would be the easiest but impossible to buy in Canada
  15. Well owning turbo cars for years fully aware of turbo timing...also run a full synthetic liqui Molly oil so she definitely has good oil. Interesting thread on a dsm site and lots of people have ran for years with coolant bypassed. No problem.
  16. Hey guys Just looking for some advice..just did a turbo swap into my na mighty max... Have not got around to hooking up the coolant yet to the turbo and just wondering if I well damage the turbo not getting to it for a few months? Pros and cons to just leaving it not hooked up?
  17. Hey guys I just finished swaping the turbo onto my mighty max and am installing the 89 injectors, wondering how you have it set up for them?? Stagged injection I assume? I would like to see some screen shots of some peoples set up on pretty much a stock 89 build. thanks Mike
