With the new chat room I have the ability to add custom avatars. You can see an example by looking at the current avatars, where I added a green penny racer starion.
I need some of you artistic types to come up with some nice shiny starquest related avatars that I can upload, then I'll make a poll if there are too many, and we'll vote on the top avatars.
Avatars should be approximately 40x40 pixels, in gif, jpg, or png format.
Ready? Go!

it seems our join date is not displayed anymore. not that i care...just an observation.
Hover over the user's name in the forum thread to the top left of the forum posts, and you'll get a little mini bio showing the join date

Yeah I can't upload a new Profile pic either and it changed mine to the Avatars pic, weird.. I liked the Old Style better... But everything gets easier with time and getting used to...

Not sure if the concern has been raised or not, but is there a way that when you click into the PM envelope on the top of the screen that it would take you directly to the message, rather than the top of the first page? It's a bit of a nuisance when going through mult-page messages because you can't skip to the last page.
Other than that, I like it but I wish it had the same fascia (but all the new features). This one is a little harder on the eyes.
I get a popup with a list of recent messages that allows me to go directly into whichever message I choose, you don't?

I think the notifications settings were completely revamped, and the update may have reset them. You may need to go into your profile and set them back up in there.

what happen'd to the' jump to forum' list
Top right of the forum is a little icon next to "View new content" that opens quick navigation.

oddly enough, it's the same exact forum software, the layout hasn't really changed... much
as far as where did this go, where did that go? I'll poke around, maybe some of the features were toggled off
as far as avatars, they may come back after I rebuild thumbnails

iPhone users can also view the forums now with a free app from invision...

Cool beans. As I pressed post topic I noticed we can now attach files to our posts. No more swapping emails for tuning files. Now everyone with a good standalone tune can post the tune file for others to research and try. WAY COOL.

I haven't put too much effort into this until I can get the site to be more stable. Chat right now would bring us down even further...

You realize the "ads by google" at the bottom of the page probably pay for the website and then some.
Actually they pay for about ~2 months maybe out of the whole year.
I've been watching the server for a while now, and it just comes to a crawl with almost no load whatsoever. It's not clear what the problem is, but there are only 2 other low traffic sites on the same server. I'm still tweaking apache to try optimizing, but nothing seems to be resolving the problem yet. I haven't given up yet!
