1988 starion

I set it on 10 I made a mistake earlier yes I unplugged the vacuum advance car ran so much better but broke down under a load again I popped oil cap while it was running it shot the cap into the bottom of hood and it smoked like a train out of valve cover I'm assuming it is a mechanical problem but I'm gonna do a compression test just to make sure but to me it acts like it's putting boost inside the motor is that possible through a cracked head /blown head gasket or is it going to be a piston /ring problem?

It is pumping boost into motor I guess head is cracked any suggestions on what to put back on it?

I have put the dist in several times to recheck myself I've put it on 8 btdc I did put airtex pump in but did not use the cone filter I will download manual I don't believe I'm leaking boost the engine light has never flashed on car doesn't skip or run rich runs great idling revs killer when it gets a load on it it will not pull I'm gonna recheck what was pointed out it feels like fuel or ignition to me I just hope I'm on the right track I want to drive it

I recently bought an 88 starion it is my first one having some issues with power I put a new fuel pump and filter got a new dizzy rebuilt turbo no play in it you can pull out in the road and Matt it I belive I could outrun it on foot breaks down all through rpms gauge says it's making seven pounds of boost i have no clue where to start now any help would be greatly appreciated
