  1. Hello everyone The main bearings have decided to call it a day on my '87 Euro Flatty. Does anybody have a good turbo that they're happy to ship to the UK? If not, does anybody know of a bolt on alternative I could use on the 2.0L 4G63? I don't mind some fabrication but nothing too drastic! Any comments/feedback welcome. Cheers Greg
  2. Hello everyone I need the following parts sent over to the UK if possible? 1 pair of side markers (or the blanks that euro flatties have) Both plastic scuttle panels Bell housing cover plate (between engine block and transmission) Metal bulk head cover plate (sits behind the brake master cylinder servo) Any help greatly appreciated! Cheers Greg
  3. Apparently 10717 is no longer available either and I need this pipe as well. So if anybody has anything knocking about then please let me know.
  4. Hello I need part number MD086651 (No.10716 - see below) for my UK 2.0 Starion EX. New would be great, but if anybody has a good quality second hand one and are prepared to ship over the pond that would really help me out! Cheers Greg http://home.btconnect.com/cdrestoration/images/001.jpg
  5. Cheers guys. It looks like fabrication going to be the only way, as the very few scrap cars I've found are in just as bad condition as mine
  6. G'day ZacMan, I'll be in touch. I think you're right Technology...finding one will be a problem for me though.
  7. Hello As you've might have seen in my intro, not only am I up against a full engine rebuilt, but I also have a fair bit of bodywork ahead of me. The problem I've got is that nobody in the UK supplies repair panels, so can anybody recommend a good US supplier, or is it a matter of fabricating the panels myself? Thanks in advance! Greg
  8. Thank you for the warm welcome. That's right Squrlsquash...we also got the 2.6 turbo 'widebody'.
  9. Hello to one and all from the UK! I've recently been given an '87 Starion EX 2000 'Flatty'. The 'catch' is that it's in pretty rough condition and the engine is in bits Here's a picture of the old girl - http://home.btconnect.com/cdrestoration/images2/Photo0022.jpg As you guys know by the model it's has the 8v SOHC 4 pot (4G63) with the MHI TC06-11A turbo. Here's what it looks like at the moment - http://home.btconnect.com/cdrestoration/images2/Photo0021.jpg http://home.btconnect.com/cdrestoration/images2/Photo0026.jpg http://home.btconnect.com/cdrestoration/images2/Photo0027.jpg These cars are very rare in the UK as they never sold in big numbers back in the 80's and I can't even remember the last time I saw one on a british road As you can imagine parts are very hard to come by so this could be a tough project. Anyway, I hope you like it and I hope you don't mind me asking a million questions about it, as this is all new to me. Cheers Greg
