so driving to work this morning I glanced down to see her running hot. Over half way on the gauge. It's never been like that. Drove about a mile to my shop and she was way hot. The battery dummy light was on too. No fans I think. What could have happened? No fuses blown under the dash. Everything was just fine. Drove it yesterday. No problems. What can I do? R/T UhG.

So I let it sit overnight. Got in and it started right up. Ran rough for a second then fine. Drove around the block shut her down. And it started right up. Did that a few times... Hm so weird. It left me walking yesterday. Ok ok I'll do a compression check right away before I jump to conclusions. If its bad... I'll have to do it myself. UhG. That seems way out of my mechanical comfort zone. I've done some v8's... This thing scares me for some reason. Please be patient with me. I'm gonna need your help. And I sincerely apologize for calling them pos. I was just loosn it. Newbie struggles. R/T

I Am so bummed out... Can't tear it apart. Gonna have to sell it. Take a loss. These cars are just pieces of s***. I am super pissed off. Parked it for a few hrs. And now it won't start. Sure it turns over just fine. Even fired once er twice but ran rough for a second and died. wt....!? Words cannot describe my disappointment. And frustration. I'm sorry to rant... Not sure what to do...

Um... What do you think a shop would charge to do it? I could probably handle it if I had to... Just thought it might only be 500$ and would be done right. And a lot quicker. R/T

Anyone care to take a guess at what it would cost to replace? And what else should be done at that time also? Thanx. R/T

So I'm new to these cars. And I'm looking to get some ideas on what to do to mine. It's an 87 Quest, 5 speed, Turbo. 116K miles. Need to do a compression check as I think the head gasket might be toast. Otherwise it's completely stock. I'm about to go for an emissions test. What can I do to help my chances? It runs good. But I've been reading in some threads that there is quite a few things that can be removed. To help it run better. Down the road... I'd like a fast driver. Nothing real special. I'm good with paint and bodywork and old v8's but this is all new to me. My budget would depend on some things... I'd like to find someone to maybe trade out stuff with. Might try an ad on craigslist. Anyone know someone around the Denver area that could help? Looking to spend around 2K. Looking at all the pics... there's a lot of options. I'd also like to upgrade the suspension a little. Drilled/slotted rotors. struts? What else? What would you do? What brands? I drive around all the time, There's cars all over the place here. Sum pix of my rides in the newbie section. I absolutely LOVE this car! It's like a go cart for the street. Gonna git busted drifting. Oh it's SO FuN!!! Lot's of plans for her... Thanx, R/T

I'm going to need some help with this... So I'm getting some questions together. Atlantic blue is a rare color huh? I like it. This thing is a blast around town! Looking for advice on tune up tips... I'll take more pix of the quest. It appears completely original. Needs a lower front air dam and a header panel. Interior is pretty good. Busted windshield. Little things. Need to clean the headlight switches. The rear wiper and back up lights don't work. The heater controls are hilarious! What iz up with that!? The Pass. auto belt doesn't work. And the R. side fan is squeeling off/on. Looks like the bearings as there's some play there. What can I do with that? It's driving me nuts. R/T

Hi all... My names Robert. I just purchased a 87 quest. 116k. And I'm very happy with it! Wanted one way back in the day...But got into MoPars. Now I have a really sweet full RMS done up 340 73 cuda.(red AAR) Lots of mods.5 speed. A very nice black 69 Dodge Charger 383. And a Purple 75 Duster /6 I'm about to finish. So I bought this Quest to bop around town in. It's perfect!!! This thing has one spot of rust. CO. Car. 5 speed turbo. It's the bluefish grey silver color. With black/blue interior. I'll post up pix soon. But I wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I'm going to be looking for help and guidance with it. You guys really know your stuff around here! I know absolutely nothing about it. So far I'm impressed with the handling! And the potential. I'll be around here a lot. R/T
