  1. Updated and Answerd see below, thanks guys

Ok, for some reason on some subjects I can't reply to posts. I noticed the other day I came across a post about how some one was having trouble connecting a wireless network from their neighbors house to the computer in their basement. I know how to fix that but I can't post to it. Then tonight I'm on the electronics page and I see someone with a question about their stereo only has RCA jacks, that its an old pioneer. Those are probably pre-amp outputs so the stereo might only work without an amplifier attached. But I can't post to it. Am I too new or are these posst considered answered. or do i just suck? (thats enough out of you, nomad lol)

  4. pss if anybodys wondering, the bikes a 1975 yamaha XS650B that sat in storage for 20 years and is basicly brand new with 4k miles on it.

the red truck behind it is my 1998 Montero widebody (pajero fieldmaster) at 149k miles. I had bought amatching pair of 3g/s turbos to do a project on it into the 6g74TT but i think i'd be too scared to drive it after so the turbos just sit and collect dust...

  5. Hey just to introduce myself, I just bought this Conquest on 11-22-11. Have been wanting one for years. The first thing i did was boost the turbo to max and did a burn out from greeley to aurora, spun out and smashed the back-end, poped both front tires, broke the antenna, and played with the headlight switch till the drivers side headlight stopped working and finally blew the head gasket, yeehaw..... Maybe tomorrow i'll poor some gasoline on it a burn it to a crisp?

    GLOBAL MAX 500K?

All joking aside :D , yes joking , I bought it with all those problems intact :( the conquests basicly all stock, the previous previous owner must've blown the headgasket at 111,126 miles and parked it under a tree that made alot of sap. The last 2 days i've been cleaning the hell out of the exterior. the previous owner kept it garaged but didnt bother to remove the sap deposits :( he did however put in a couple of new parts and checked it out. those pictures of what he installed will come later. I do know he did put in an eclipses airbox and something else. Some type of module.

The next few weeks i will be repairing the headgasket, with stock style headbolts and gasket, because if i'm going to poor money into an engine, it's going to be new and following the tips and tricks user "dad" ex-planes about milling the engine first.

I will have alot of questions and will need a few parts that will all come in time and hope someone will have answers or know where to direct me.

    might as well start now...

the drivers side headlight, as seen in the pictures, (hopefully i can post them) had a bra cover on it that somehow expanded and basicly locked the headlight in the down position. once someone tried to turn the headlight on it tore it or broke it off the track. i've removed the bra cover and when i turn on th headlights i can hear the motor wizing away and i go to it and manualy lift it it locks in up postion and the motor stops. When i turn off the headlights it goes down and locks with no fuss.

do you think its repairable? and if so how do i dissasemble it from the car. I got an account with alldata diy, but doesnt show that and i havent found on here how to do it.

I got into starquests in the early 90's when my brother had a flatty with the digital gauge system, ugliest car i've ever seen  but man o man could that sucker move and handled like it was on rails.
