  1. First, please read the ENTIRE ad. I believe in full disclosure, and want to list the car as it is. I bought this car two years ago, driving from Pittsburgh to Missouri and back in 24 hours to pick it up. The only thing I have done to the car is had a intercooler, charge piping, aluminum radiator, new battery, and a full tank of 93 octane put in it. This is a 1987 Chrysler Conquest with a Ford 302 motor and a Holset HX52 turbo. The engine has the following done to it: 88 HO block TRW-VR forged Pistons ARP Hardware MLS Head Gaskets Explorer GT40 Intake 65mm Throttlebody Paxton FMU Accel Ignition FM Distributor 24lbs Injectors (currently installed) Aluminum Radiator Custom Manifolds with crossover pipe Holset HX52 Turbo 38mm Wastegate Solid Mounts 4 inch v-band to 3 inch running all the way out (no catalytic converter) A9L Transmission is a stock C6 with a mild shift kit and drive shaft mated to six bolt swap with 3.55 gears and LSD unit. The car has full Autometer gauges that all work. The car needs suspension, brake, and body cleanup work. I had intentions of fixing the car over time, but have since lost interest. When I brought the car back to Pittsburgh, I had a intercooler, new charge piping, radiator, and the oil feed to the turbo replaced, since then it has sat. I also bought 42lbs injectors and a blow through MAF that are not installed. I also bought new transmission fluid and a filter kit for theC6. The front bumper is currently off the car from the intercooler/radiator install. I bought the car for $3,200, put $750 into misc. parts and labor. The starter either needs shimmed or replaced, it does not always catch on the flywheel. I have some extra parts that can go with the car, manual transmission swap, extra power steering pump, and other small things. I'm asking $1,500 for the car, which I am pretty firm on. I believe it to be a fair price for what comes with it. I am not interested in trades. I honestly lost interest into it. I got into tournament fishing, so most of my time goes there. If you have questions, or would like to see it. please feel free to email me and I can answer them/schedule something. Here is a link below from YouTube from the last owner to give you a general idea of the car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wiRqUJ7hEyU Clean title in hand, no liens on car. Thanks, Sean http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/pod12597/IMG_20130323_202318.jpg http://i71.photobucket.com/albums/i160/pod12597/IMG_20130323_202308.jpg
  2. Looking for both of these, the window switch is more important. Old one would operate down, but not up. Also looking for a unmolested chassis wiring from engine bay through car. Thanks, Sean
  3. Thanks for the welcome. I should give the prior member some credit. It does run and idle. The motor currently has a Holeset HX52 on it. It running with a FMU, the MAF on the turbo intake with dryer flex venting (I can't make stupid up), stock 24lb injectors. So, any boost and the motor would blow. The motor I was told was built, thankfully the original builder posted on here. I don't mind the 302. I know the fact its in there, runs and moves under it's own power is a plus. I like the LS motors better, I know them, have alot of support that works on them as well. The list of what I would need for the 302 to run correctly would be a blow through MAF, new injectors, front mount done properly. The biggest thing that pains me, is that the owner prior to me, decided to paint eveything in the engine bay, without taking it out. I would want to redo the engine wiring harness and atleast put a good chassis harness again. I'll have to shoot some photos in the morning. Right now its sitting in my garage the way I got it. Trust me when I say, driving for 12 hours straight down, picking a car up at 11pm, and driving back 1,100 miles in 23 hours wasn't the smartest plan.
  4. Afternoon all, My name is Sean. 26, married, homeowner, regular adult s***. I've been into cars ever since I was a little kid. My father used to drag race car and race motorcross. I was big into FWD cars for awhile, mainly Hyundais'. My main car was a 1998 Hyundai Tiburon. It made close to 480whp before it finally blew some piston rings. Sold it with 38,000 miles on it. Next car was a 1998 Hyundai with a 2.0l swap and was turbocharged. It was a complete s*** bucket, and I loved it. Sold it for $1,500, most regretful thing. Last car before I went to RWD was the Dragonfab twin engine TIburon. Worst. Purchase. Ever. The car was so rigged, it was sad. Sold it after having it shipped from Arkansas. My next investment was a LM7 powered RX7. Car was a blast to drive, but not for me. Sold it for the same amount I had into it. Current car is garychoffmans 302 Conquest. I drove down to pick this thing up sight unseen. I wish Gary was a more honest seller. If I had a chance to buy anything off him again, I wouldnt. The owner before him has the car done very tastefully. When Gary got it, he hodge poged alot of it together. I was too generous for what I paid. Thus why I am making my first post over here. I'm torn on keeping the current 302, or swapping for the more popular LS based motors. Everyone around here swaps these, and most of my friends work on them. The Conquest in its current for does run and drive, but it needs gone through. The engine bay cleaned up, wiring redone, etc. I'll post some photos later. But thats it for now. Thanks, Sean
