  1. I have one from my '88. I know it was working when I took it out. I really have no need for it, so if you want it its yours. Just pay the shipping.

  7. So I finally saved up some money and bought a set of D2 coilovers from JM auto racing. I found them on the website but decided to call just to make sure they were available. Customer service on the call was excellent. They knew what they were talking about, were polite and even suggested I look up a topic that was posted on here by one of our members if I needed any more help. The pricing was good as well. I actually ended up paying less than I thought I would. So that was a win for sure. Now, for shipping. I was EXTREMELY impressed with the shipping. I was expecting 5-7 days ship time. I got my package in a little over 24 hours. Waaaaaaay faster than I thought I would. The packing itself was good. I had no issues with that. Im very happy with the coilovers too. It put a whole new life into my ride. They look good and handle well. They will also drop way lower than I need to right now. So that's a good thing too. Install wasn't too bad. JM Auto Racing seems to have everything they need in place and operational to make transactions run smooth, and they have excellent customer service to top it off.
  8. Purchased the chin spoiler and the hood strut kit from motocam360. Very pleasant on the phone, answered any questions I had with no issues. I somehow deleted my confirmation email with the tracking number on it. I sent them a request for them to resend it and got it the same day. I also received my package tight after that. The packaging was good. Everything was secure, nothing rattling around or anything like that. As far as the products go, they all seem to have an excellent finish on them. I was able to install everything myself, which is good cause my friend bailed on me and never showed up to help... Hood strut kit is fully functional, no binding or any issues at all. Chin spoiler fit on with no issues. I like how they left a little over hang so you can adjust it to fit every vehicle. After all, not every vehicle is exactly the same. The instructions are clear, they even have pictures so that people like me can figure out what needs to be done. All in all a good buy. Ill be going back to them again for some other products. I would also have no issue recommending motocam360 to other people.
  9. Im interested in the short throw shift kit. Not too worried about the delay. I want more, but cant swing it now. So hopefully you keep these things running. Thanks for stepping up and making it happen.
  10. Thanks for the link. Ill go through it and get back with you shortly.
  11. What shades of blue do you have access to? Any websites I can look at to get an idea?

Happy Veterans Day to my past and current brethren. Take some time off Drink a beer and revel In the glory of all that you have bled for.
  14. Sign me up. Got a few side installs this month, so I can save some cash up now and wait for this to come through.
  15. Between being sick and working, I forgot all about this. Hopefully we can try again and I can make it down( or up, depending on how you look at the map).
  16. Yeah, Ive been reading as much as I can on here and in the manual and what not, but this is still my first Starion. like to think I'm doing a good job with everything I have done so far. But reading only goes so far, so I like to make sure and check with the experienced guys. Thanks again for dealing with my questions.
  17. lol, yeah thats about what its like. So it sounds like what I'm experiencing is just me being new to the starquest platform. It was one of those things that seems fine, but I just want to make sure Im not missing some small detail that makes a world of difference. Butif yours is the same way for a decade then I should be good to go. I would rather ask and look like a tard than blow up my motor and prove that Im a tard for missing something dumb...
  18. Ok, cool. And thanks. I was kind of sure that it was ok since it has been so consistent with the way it reads and drives. But Im at the point now where (fingers crossed and knock on wood) I have things running like they should be all the time. So I just wanted to be sure. I suppose that does make sense though. The outlet temps are above 1200 degrees or something like that on the turbo exhaust? Isnt that part of why the wideband O2 sensor has to be so far back?
  19. I have my girl back on the road. A steady flow of fresh parts to get her top flight. Some fresh stereo equipment to get her rocking again. A wife thats not mad that I'm neglecting her to spend my free time in the garage and some beer to top it off. Only way it'll be better is when its ALL complete.
  20. I wondering if my thermostat is working properly. When driving around it gets about 1/4 of the way up. when it sits withought moving it gets half way up at most( on the temp gauge) So it shows everything is fine, and everything seems to be running fine, but when I open the hood, it radiates heat like crazy. Its been consistent over the past year, no fluctuations or anything, always 1/4 way up the gauge when driving and 1/2 way tops while sitting for a while. Is this normal? It just seems like the gauge may not be giving an accurate reading or something. Is the motor normally this hot and Im just over cautious or is it an issue? It gets to the point that I dont want to take off the power steering cap without using a rag or something after about 20 -30 min of driving.
  21. Thanks guys. Once again you square me away with everything I need. I appreciate it.
  22. So, I was doing some reading about coilovers. More specifically D2 and ksport. I remember reading somewhere very briefly that you needed some other parts in order to adjust the camber on the rear. I cant find the post where it was mentioned though. SO, I figured I would just ask. Just trying to figure out if I need anything else or if ill be good to toss em on and drop it or if I will have camber issues.
