The car is 5 minutes from me..Its been up for sale awhile..The car has a substantial amount of rust forming under the paint on the 1/4s...If memory serves me correct,,he is asking $7000..Way to much for that car.

Stewart Warner 2 5/8 Air/Fuel gauge..This unit was mounted in my 280zxTurbo and it fits the stock Z/ZX openings almost perfect..Could also be used on any other car..It is only a month old and in mint condition..My mods are going a little further than initially intended so I decided to go Wideband..I paid $50 plus shipping from Summit last month..Will sell for $30 shipped anywhere in US..Thanks.. Get that Z done..That is my favorite 80s car after the Starquest..Here is a shot of my former 83 ZXT..I built this car up for 3 years at my old job..I ran a T3/T4,Full 3"exhaust,Starion intercooler with custom plumbing,and SVO injectors.It ran consistant low 13s on 17"street tires with no traction at all..Ive owned a few 280ZX's and Im sorry I sold my last one..Stick with the L28 motor dude..They are bulletproof..Post up pics when its done. http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/6743/129114942mjftvqph111396da0.jpg

Cyber-I was hoping you didnt see this post..Anyway,as stated above,I think the car came out great..I finished it off with a complete new interior.All new front and back seats,door panels,sun visors,complete console and custom gauge panel,and new fllormats..The new owner was very happy with the car. Artinist-Your bumper looks great...

Wow..Just got home from Atlantic City from a wonderful day and night of gambling(losing) and I cant believe we have a 3 page royal rumble all from a pic request.In the Body and Interior section no less..This is hilarious.Although Im sure the mods wont think so I better get back under my rock...

Ofcourse it matters,but we are not talking about race cars here.The owner did not build the car to break the saltflat record.Do you know any Starquests that run 200+mph when it WOULD matter?As I stated above,it was not done for cooling purposes or aerodynamics.It was done to be different and enhance the cars appearance like the others in this thread.I assure you it absolutly has no ill effects on the car at all..It reached and maintained top speed as it should,always maintained the exact same temp moving or sitting still,ect.No variances from the other tons of Starquests Ive driven over the years.As a matter of fact,the vent in the hood sat directly in front of the OVCP,and the vent in the nose panel sat directly in front of the oil cooler and intercooler pipe.Do you think opening the front end a little would hurt efficiency?Im sure cold air rushing onto the IC pipes and such is not bad for these vehicles as they reach astronomical underhood temps.Ofcourse Mitsubishi's design already does this..Though there are plenty of poor designs that this car inherited from the factory,they definitly got the aerodynamics part right.
