I agree on the flat sides not looking as nice, but they are more rare so a collector might be interested.... idk.

 

Was browsing the local CL sites and figured I'd post em up. I'm still trying to pull some cash together to actually make a purchase on the next widebody I see thats in nice shape, hopefully with a cracked head.

those are not Starion tranny rebuild parts, there are turbo specific parts and a d50 tranny would grenade on you and a d50 tranny also has a different bellhousing its not even cast to use a hydraulic slave cylinder they use a cable shifter. You can buy km145 kits everywhere but if you go to the dealer and add up the parts, this has been done a few times before you'll just decide to buy a new tranny ~2500 give or take a few hundred

arent these starion parts listed under conquest/starion

they are not the same numbers as the truck trannys, and even list specific kits for the 3 diff generations.
