I admit they look good but ride like s***.I was told by previous owner they are Eibachs. He gave me three springs because he said he lost one! wt....!
  2. does anybody have STOCK RIDE HEIGHT COIL SPRINGS for an 88? my car has lowering springs and I hate them. I actually have 3 of them so I only really need 1. Two are smaller and the one is little larger.I'm assuming it's for rear but not sure . my car is packed in the corner of my building surrounded by others so,I can't take a look right now . I live near Cleveland OH. Txt me at 440-309-0731 or e-mail me at christhompson68@ymail.com Thanks guys
  3. I am looking for stock springs for my 88 starion .Iwas told by the previous owner that mine are Eibach's. Maybe we could work some kind of trade? I live about 40 miles west of Cleveland, see you're in Indiana. Only thing is I'm not messing with anything till it gets a little warmer outside Lol ! Let me know if you interested.
  4. WOW!!!got just a few there! might take you up on that sometime in the future !I'm going to be repainting it soon , the kid I got it from painted it and really shouldn't have ! Kinda' looks a pineapple rind finish right now. I'm embarrassed to drive it like that. The car is solid though just gotta decide a color now
  5. Taking my seats out today I bumped my headrest into the windshield and broke like an egg .Anyway does anyone know where I can get one. I live near Norwalk , Ohio. I'd like to find one in the northern part of the state .I saw some in W.Va.and will cost me a fortune in gas .
  6. We will need more info. But just from what you describe, it could be the vacuum advance. A good rule of thumb with a StarQuest is #1, go through the entire engine bay first to get a good base of where you're at. Do a basic tune up, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fluids, replace injector clips (super important). Check timing and all that good stuff.

Once that's done, you can begin to rule out all of the above replaced parts. A hesitation can be from a bad distributor vacuum advance, usually happens around 3K rpms. Easies way to test it is put your mouth on the vac advance port and suck, if it gets hard to suck, then it holds vacuum. If you just keeping sucking and nothing happens, it doesn't hold vacuum, the diaphram inside is ripped and just flows air through.

But, I'd go through the FAQ section if I were you, being new and all you'll need familiarize yourself with the car, the terms and the basic character of these cars.
