  1. thanks everyone. have been doing my research and printed out wiring diagrams and ecu pin outs. i'll be using the sr trans or going with a tt 300zx trans with the bell house addaptor from maxworx. i dont have the sr yet, but im still tearing apart and taking out the 4g54b. so odds are you'll see me posting in the for sale section as well. this swap should be fun and it will be a 1st for me, thankfully i can weld pretty decent and have some local connections machine shop wise. i hope to have everything together and have it running by summer. for any one out there looking into a standalone system or piggy back, check out NIS tune out of the lkand of Aussies, thats the routa im going, a little over $250 with shipping, cant beat that.
  2. hey guys, just wanted to say hi to everyone, and also give eveyrone fair warning im gona have some questions ha ha hopefully soon i'll have my TSI back on the roads. im planning on swapping in the s13 sr20det, best sr ever. please dont hate me, just know a lot about the sr's, the best friend has had 6 240s ha ha but i plan on running 272 cams in it with arp headstud, apexi headgasket, and greddy rocker arm stoppers. for the turbo i plan on an inverted manifold with a turbo good for around 25lbs. i want to with the inverted so i can have a custom dp to make sure i clear the steering componets. that and use a good bit of heat wrap due to the exhuast routeing. As well as an AEM wideband set up and Tru Boost gauge/controller. for the drive train I plan on getting a lieght weight flywheel or getting some weight shaved off the factory one, a compition clutch stage 4 clutch, and since i'll need a new driveline i want to go with a 1pc driveshaft. From all i read i belive im gona go with GR-2 adjustable shocks and cosmo coilovers with ST sway bars front and back. Also if im doing all that, going with the 101 poly bushing kit for the front and rear. so as you can tell, i got a good bit to do, butit's all a labor of love. I'm in it for the long haul so yall will be seeing me a lot. any input on my plans is welcome. glad to be a member.
