  1. It pains me to do this but due to lack of time, money, and recent break up with my fiance...

The car is currently disassembled, but for a seasoned Starquester it wouldnt take more then a weekend to put it back together.

87 Quest with a pretty nice interior, 140,xxx on the dash, body is decent for being a michigan car its whole life id recommend a patch panel on the drivers side, the frame rails arent rusted through, tons of extras, fresh cylinder 3 angle valve job etc, full headgasket kit, full tb rebuild kit, brand new oem fuel filter, pillar pod with boost and fuel press gauge, cluster cover, pass headlight assembly, waterpump, timing cover gaskets, thermostat (180), and more i cant recall right now....

I'd like to get 1000 for it as i have close to that in parts alone.

You will need to tow it.

  2. Theres a couple of spots i go to...

French rd is popular but i stay away from there too much chaos... a srt 300 went through a fence last summer. that was the last time i went.

We usually just meet up saturday night on telegraph and hang out, a few 1000+ hp cars come out.

I have been to a few up near pontiac and auburn hills, its really a crap shoot out there sometimes. its either all honduhs, or all evo's, wrx's etc etc

  3. Smart man you are!!!!

A corvette at 21 = more court costs and fines then you want to imagine, cops look at corvettes like gold mines, they figure only old men drive them anyway so if they see one doing anything slightly out of place your busted.

Thats why i loved my subaru wagon  380 AWHP, with the image of a soccer mom or an old lady, and even then i racked up 10 points.

  4. We have about every different type of undercover vehicle in wayne county, Im suprised I haven't seen a starquest lol. My first ticket ever was a scenario like some of you have mentioned, a gold camaro ss pulls up lets a few rips out, we take off from the light, hit about 80 (in a 40 zone), I pulled 5 cars on him lol then he drops back flicks the light as im crapping/puking im so scared, he ended up being pretty cool though only gave me 5 over !

Same situation on the freeway, a cobra blows by me and my buddy on 94, we take off to catch up soon as we do he drops back and flicks the lights.

Moral of the story is dont street race, you never know whats out there.

  5. Well, Payments are going to be high with insurance no doubt.

But resale value is very good.

I've driven the new corvettes and they suck on michigan roads, it feels like your riding a skateboard you feel EVERYTHING, Quicker then dog snot though.

I also didnt really like the cockpit kind of tight on me and im not that huge of a guy.(6'0" 175lb's)

If you willing to give up some comfort and ride quality and can afford one then go for it, You can definatly go fast lol.

My personal favorite from the GM line up is the trailblazer ss, 400hp, awd, and it rides like a bentley.
